Need a quick, affordable stay near Da Nang Airport? We explored two local hotels perfect for late arrivals or early departures in 2026. Discover if they're right for your next trip!

Traveling to Southeast Asia often means dealing with awkward flight times, making a '0.5-night' stay an absolute lifesaver. Whether you're arriving late at night or have a red-eye departure, these short stays are perfect for catching some sleep, dropping off your bags, or just chilling out before heading to the airport.
Da Nang, Vietnam, is a popular spot for travelers, and naturally, there are plenty of hotels catering to these quick layovers. But instead of focusing on the well-trodden paths, I decided to venture off the beaten track and explore some truly local, budget-friendly accommodations right near Da Nang Airport.
Dreamy Sky Boutique Hotel
Probably wouldn't stay again

Might consider staying again
Dreamy Sky Boutique Hotel
📍 Dreamy Sky Boutique Hotel
31 Trường Thi 2, Hòa Thuận Tây, Hải Châu, Đà Nẵng 550000 Vietnam
This hotel is practically right across from the airport. While you *could* technically walk, most travelers with luggage will probably opt for a short taxi ride.

The exterior looks decent enough. What they call a lobby is more of a reception area, but that's where you'll check in. True to its local vibe, you'll get a physical key, not a card.

The bathroom features a modest shower space, but surprisingly, a decent array of amenities for a budget spot.

I was curious, so I checked it out, but honestly, it wasn't my favorite.
Probably wouldn't stay again

This area feels strictly airport-adjacent, with no real city vibe. There's a local coffee shop nearby, but I didn't spot many other dining options. The price was around ~$7, but as always, rates can vary depending on when you book. You can check current prices here.

I explored another option, too.
📍 Mint Airport apartment for rent
Mint Airport Apartment for rent, 302 Nguyễn Văn Linh, Thạc Gián, Thanh Khê, Đà Nẵng 550000 Vietnam
This one is slightly closer to the city center than Dreamy Sky, so it has a bit more of a downtown feel with more shops and eateries around.

Finding the entrance might be a little tricky; you'll need to go through a small entryway to reach the second floor. The check-in desk is tucked away on the first floor before you head up. Check-in is at 2 PM, and check-out is at 12 PM.
Since my previous stay wasn't great, I opted for a room with a balcony this time – a Deluxe Double Room with Balcony.

The room was simple and straightforward. Stepping out onto the balcony, you get a direct view of the city streets, which meant it could be a bit noisy during the day. However, I booked this for a daytime stay before an evening flight, so night-time noise wasn't an issue for me.

The room itself felt quite spacious, partly because it was minimally furnished.
Might consider staying again
If needed, I'd consider staying here again (though I'll likely explore new places for future reviews!). The room with the balcony cost me around ~$16. As with any accommodation, prices fluctuate, so you can find the latest rates here.
I checked out these two hotels near the airport out of curiosity for a 0.5-night stay. Honestly, Da Nang's city center isn't far from the airport, so you don't *have* to limit yourself to airport-adjacent options. The city has tons of incredibly budget-friendly local accommodations. Alternatively, if you prefer a safer bet, many popular hotels often reviewed by influencers offer a reliable, albeit less unique, experience. Think of this as my personal experiment – just sharing my experience with these local finds!
The price per night is slightly over ~$6 and varies depending on when you book. It is located right in front of the airport with no city vibe at all. Although there is a local coffee shop next door, there are no suitable places to eat nearby.
Check-in is at 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM. The check-in desk is located in the corner of the first floor, just past a small entrance and before you head up to the second floor.
The price for this room is around ~$16. The advantage is that the room is more spacious than expected. However, a downside is that it can be somewhat noisy during the day since the balcony looks directly over the city and the road.
