Our first day on our family trip to Da Nang,
the Cozy Danang Boutique Hotel was our chosen spot for a brief city stay.
Following up on our connecting family room review,
this installment is all about the Cozy Danang Boutique Hotel's ✅breakfast, swimming pool, and other amenities!
To be honest, since it's an affordable city hotel, I thought it would be understandable if it didn't quite meet my expectations,
but both the breakfast and the pool actually exceeded them!

Breakfast
Breakfast Hours: 6:30am - 10:00am
The breakfast restaurant is conveniently ✔️located right off the lobby on the first floor,
making it super easy to access.
It looked like it might also double as a bar in the evenings, with a diverse selection of drinks on offer.
The space was surprisingly generous and the seating was really well-arranged,
meaning we could enjoy our meal without feeling rushed, even during peak times!
The seating could comfortably accommodate groups of 2 to 4 people and even more,
and felt quite luxurious with neatly folded fabric napkins, making us feel truly pampered.
Basic drinks like ✔️coffee, juice, water, tea, and detox water were all self-service,
and since we were in Vietnam, we could even make our own Vietnamese coffee with condensed milk!
You'd also find ✔️milk, yogurt, and fruit pudding, perfect with cereal.
Each was hygienically served in individual bottles from the fridge – super thoughtful!
The bakery spread included a wide array of options like ✔️bread rolls, croissants, and various dessert pastries,
and for a value-for-money hotel breakfast, the bakery selection was surprisingly good!
You'd find delights like cream puffs, muffins, donuts, madeleines, and roll cakes,
enough to make any kid's eyes light up with joy!
✔️Cold foods like ham and sausages were also readily available,
and a simple salad corner was prepared.
The local cakes were totally kijeongtteok style!
✔️Hot foods like sausages and fried items were also served warm.
There were also various vegetables, perfect for a palate cleanser or as a side,
and ✔️they even had kimchi!
There was also a ✔️pho station where they made noodles fresh on the spot,
and it seemed the varieties changed a bit each day. On this particular day, it was Hue-style beef pho!
It was great being able to add sauces and vegetables exactly how I liked them, and the taste was pretty good too.
If you're someone who finds street food a bit daunting, you'll definitely be satisfied here.
There was also an ✔️egg station,
and other warm dishes like noodles, meat, and dumplings were also available.
From tapioca dumplings and dipping pho to spring rolls,
you could even get a taste of ✔️Vietnamese local dishes.
Even if it's not entirely to your palate, the real fun is being able to sample authentic local cuisine right at breakfast!
For fruits, there was a good variety of ✔️local Vietnamese fruits like bananas, passion fruit, guava, watermelon, and dragon fruit.
Breakfast Overview
Honestly, the reviews were quite ordinary, so I didn't go in with high expectations,
but for a hotel in this price range, this breakfast was definitely a win.
While the selection wasn't overwhelmingly vast,
from bakery items and freshly made pho to traditional Vietnamese dishes and tropical fruits,
it was an absolutely perfect start to the day on our Da Nang adventure.
✔️Best of all, the breakfast restaurant itself was so clean and pretty, it felt like enjoying brunch at a chic cafe!

The Pool | Rooftop Infinity Pool with Dragon Bridge View
Pool Hours: 7:00 AM - 9:30 PM
An infinity pool located on the rooftop.
As soon as I stepped in, the breathtaking ✔️view of the Dragon Bridge and Da Nang city opened right up,
making it a space worth visiting for the view alone!
It was too hot for a swim in the middle of the day, so I skipped it, but wow, it was stunning!
The poolside sunbeds were positioned under canopies,
creating a perfect setup where you could relax in the shade and soak in the river and city views, even under the blazing midday sun!
Da Nang's sun is incredibly intense, so it was wonderful to be able to enjoy a swim and then easily escape the sun for a bit on one of the sunbeds.
And perhaps because the staff were meticulously maintaining it from early morning, the whole area felt wonderfully clean and tidy.
✔️ There's also a pool bar, but it was closed in the morning.
It looks like a fantastic spot to make the most of in the evening!
Head up just half a floor from the pool, and you'll discover the **rooftop seating area**.
There's plenty of seating available,
and since you can enjoy **360-degree panoramic views** of Da Nang city and the Han River,
it’s the perfect place to relax with a coffee or a cocktail, even if you’re not swimming!
Another major plus is that it operates from early morning until late at night.
Since the view is spectacular both day and night, I highly recommend checking it out at least once!
Overall Pool Review
✔️ With its **Dragon Bridge view infinity pool + 360-degree rooftop views**, and the pool usually being uncrowded, even if it's not huge, the advantage is you can enjoy it at your leisure.
Equipped with shaded sunbeds and a rooftop area,
it's a space everyone can enjoy!
