Chuncheon trip, Day 2,
After a leisurely morning at our accommodation,
we looked for places suitable for kids and found just the spot!
It was the Chuncheon Robot Toy Museum and Chuncheon Animation Museum.
Exterior

When you buy a ticket,
you'll receive an entry wristband.
Wearing your entry wristband,
you can enjoy both the Robot Toy Museum and the Animation Museum.

Entrance

Right as you enter, you'll see the
Robot Indie Band!
They even put on scheduled performances.

This spider robot was both fascinating and fun.

It can do handstands, dance, and so much more,
but I was surprised by how loud it was when it approached!
AI Riku

I asked, 'Want to dance?' and
it danced so cutely!

We heard it was showtime,
so we rushed over!

They play music that kids will love, like songs from Robocar Poli,
and other popular tunes.

Robot Soccer

They move with such energy and even kick the ball really well!
I was wondering what would happen if they stumbled...
But look at them, they just get right back up!
Their progress is truly incredible!
This was the most fascinating moment for me.

The Evolution of Robots!

Robot figures from different eras are
on display here!

My mom got all nostalgic seeing Astro Boy, haha!
Time to move on to the next exciting area!

Here, you can discover all about how robots get their power!
When you press a button or pedal a bicycle, the robots stand up or
move!

You can put together puzzles,

and even play ball games by interacting with the screen!

It actually sensed our movements better than I expected!
There's even a laser maze,

drone flying,
and you can even try your hand at driving a car!

For the little ones,
there's even a dedicated area where they can play with blocks!

Once we wrapped up the activity,

Next up, it was time for the Robot Dog Interaction Experience!
The experience has a set schedule, so we made sure to be on time.
Knowing it was a robot dog, I figured the kids would absolutely love it,
so we hustled over.

But then....
It was *this* incredible Robot Dog that I'd seen in articles!

When I first saw it, I was genuinely amazed by how lifelike it was!
It could climb ramps and even stairs – pretty impressive!
You even get to try controlling it yourself,
but it was trickier than I expected!
The kids definitely found it challenging to maneuver.
There's also a fantastic area where you can play some games.

My second child got totally hooked on this
and had an absolute blast playing!

Cafe Time!
We popped into the cafe for a relaxing break in between all the excitement.

The Cafe Menu

You can use Chuncheon Love Gift Certificates here.
We actually used the gift certificates we received
from the Soyanggang Skywalk right here!

With its high ceilings and expansive windows,
the cafe was bathed in natural light,
creating a bright and wonderfully relaxed atmosphere that just made us feel so comfortable.

We even ventured out to the outdoor area.
It was February when we visited, so the outdoor tables weren't set up yet,
but I imagine it would be absolutely lovely out there when the weather is warm!

What We Ordered
Mango Yogurt Smoothie
Cafe Mocha
Cafe Hazelnut Latte
Alligator Pongdang Ade

My child absolutely loved the Alligator Pongdang Ade (soda flavor), declaring it delicious!

The hazelnut latte was also pleasantly delicious.

The Mango Ssong Ssong Ade was
pleasingly thick.
Although the mango was frozen, there was a generous amount,
and as I ate it, it gradually melted, making it truly delicious.

Animation Museum

When I visited before, I spent more time at the Animation Museum
than at the Robot Toy Museum.
Back then, I learned that Larva was a Korean creation...
but this time, I ended up spending most of my time at the Robot Toy Museum! Haha.

The Animation Museum felt like
it was more enjoyed by the parents!

A giant Mazinger Z!

Let's head up to the second floor!

It's decorated with animations from various countries,
showcasing their history and famous characters.
Normally I'd just walk past this,
but thinking of my friend makes this Twee-ny even cuter, haha!

Kids having fun with the pin screen! Haha.

It seems to be an Alice in Wonderland concept.
Touch it, and it moves!

As you pass by, your face is captured with character masks, haha!

Dubbing Room
They're dubbing Pororo!

It turns out Pororo's dubbing is for songs.
And playing rhythm games!

Experience making various animation sound effects!

Special Exhibition Hall - Acorn Cultural Center

Grab your membership card and enjoy a stamp-collecting activity!

These cute characters!

After we saw everything,
they were off and running around again!

We arrived right at opening and had such a blast,
before we knew it, it was already afternoon! Haha!
