Elephant Feeding and Photo Opportunities |
As you step into the cafe, you'll find the elephants surprisingly close!

I received a coupon and exchanged it for elephant treats, which included vegetables and milk. It was an incredible experience to personally feed these gentle giants.

I also had the chance to take photos with the elephants. When I visited, guests took photos with their own groups, and there was no extra charge for photography.

Since it's such an up-close experience, it's best to follow the on-site staff's guidance rather than approaching the elephants directly for photos.

If you're eager to see elephants near the city, feed them personally, and capture these unforgettable moments, then the Chiang Mai Elephant Cafe is definitely worth a visit!

Traditional Costume Experience and Cafe Use |
One of my favorite parts of the experience here was the opportunity to try on traditional Thai costumes alongside the elephant interaction.

I chose a lovely light pink outfit, and the staff graciously helped with the costume, accessories, and even my hair. This meant I didn't need to prepare anything extra for my photo shoot!

Dressed in traditional attire, I also got to take more photos with the elephants. The convenience of combining the elephant experience and a traditional costume photoshoot into one visit was a huge plus, especially when time is precious during a trip.

When I visited, there was even a lucky draw event at the entrance, offering perks from free admission to at least a 20% discount!

After the experience, I relaxed at an outdoor table, sipping coffee while watching the elephants. The coffee was delicious, and being able to unwind with such a unique view made it truly stand out from any ordinary cafe.

Mini's Planning Tips |
1. Optimal Visit Duration |
If you plan to do more than just feeding and also include the traditional costume experience, it's a good idea not to pack your schedule too tightly. Allow ample time to fully enjoy each activity.
2. When to Book Ahead |
If you're interested in specific program-based experiences like feeding, dining, or mud spas, make sure to check the desired program and booking requirements before your visit.
3. Efficient Itinerary Flow |
Like me, you could start your day with breakfast, then head to the cafe for the elephant experience, followed by the traditional costume session, and finally, coffee. This allows you to combine activities and relaxation all in one convenient location.

Overall Review |
For those who want to see elephants in Chiang Mai without traveling far, and wish to combine feeding, photo opportunities, and even a traditional costume experience all in one place, I highly recommend For the Good Time.
If you're seeking a unique and memorable experience in Chiang Mai, definitely consider adding this elephant cafe to your itinerary!
