Aero K Cheongju to Nagoya Direct Flights: 2026 Booking Guide
Planning a trip to Nagoya? Skip the Incheon crowds and discover direct, budget-friendly Aero K flights from Cheongju! Get the inside scoop on prices and booking for 2026.

While looking for flights to Nagoya,
this time I searched for flights departing from Cheongju.
Honestly, whenever I go to Japan, I habitually
think of Incheon International Airport first, right?
But did you know there's a direct Aero K flight
from Cheongju to Nagoya?!

So, I even checked flights departing from Incheon for the same dates,
and the Cheongju departure was actually cheaper! Haha.
If you're departing from the Chungcheong region,
considering the travel time and transportation costs to Incheon Airport,
I really wondered if it was worth making the trip all the way up to Incheon.

The itinerary I looked at was
from November 17th to 20th, a 3-night, 4-day trip.
The flight times were good,
and the price, around ~$222, really appealed to me! Haha.
So, from Cheongju-Nagoya flight prices
to direct flight times, baggage, and discount bookings,
I'll share all the details, so please read until the end! :D
1. Cheongju-Nagoya Flight Prices
The itinerary I chose was
November 17th to 20th, a 3-night, 4-day trip.
You can fly directly with Aero K
from Cheongju Airport to Nagoya Chubu Centrair International Airport.

The cheapest round-trip price I found was
~$228.
I also checked flights departing from Incheon for the same dates,
and a direct Jin Air flight was ~$265.
Cheongju Aero K: ~$228
Incheon Jin Air: ~$265
Just comparing the flight prices,
there was a difference of ~$36.
I mean, why bother going all the way to Incheon then, right? Haha.

When you add in the travel time to Incheon Airport
and the transportation costs, the difference becomes even bigger.
So, if you're departing from the Chungcheong region,
I'd definitely recommend checking Cheongju-Nagoya flights first.

2. Aero K Direct Flight Times

The flight times were also quite appealing.
November 17th
Depart Cheongju 13:55
Arrive Nagoya 15:40
November 20th
Depart Nagoya 16:40
Arrive Cheongju 18:45.
Since it departs at 1:55 PM,
there's no need to rush to the airport at dawn! Haha.

Arriving in Nagoya at 3:40 PM means
even after immigration and hotel check-in,
you can still start exploring on your first evening.
On the return day, with a 4:40 PM departure,
after breakfast and checking out,
you'll have plenty of time until lunch.

For short trips like a 3-night, 4-day getaway,
I find that the departure and arrival times are much more crucial
than a small difference of a few tens of dollars in ticket price.
This itinerary was great because it didn't feel like
the first and last days were completely wasted.

3. Baggage Allowance
Here's a crucial point: don't just look at the price
and immediately book for ~$228! Haha.
This fare didn't include checked baggage for the outbound flight,
but it did include 15kg for the return flight.

When traveling to Japan, it's common for your luggage
to increase significantly due to shopping on the way back,
so having 15kg for the return flight was a definite plus.
However, if you plan to check a suitcase from the start of your trip,
you'll need to consider the additional baggage fees.
The fare that includes 15kg of checked baggage for both ways is
It was displayed as ~$243.

Since the difference from the lowest fare was ~$15,
if I were checking a flight with checked luggage,
I'd compare the fare that includes 15kg of baggage right away.
When looking at airline tickets, the most accurate way
is to check the price that includes all the baggage you actually need,
rather than just the initial displayed price.
4. Comparing with Incheon Departures

Departing from Incheon also has its advantages.
On the same date, Jin Air's flight
departs Incheon at 07:30,
and arrives in Nagoya at 09:30.
The return flight departs Nagoya at 18:30,
meaning you get more time at your destination if you fly from Incheon.

If you want to pack your first day of travel from morning till night,
departing from Incheon might be a better fit.
But if you're thinking of departing from the Chungcheong region,
I'd choose Cheongju this time around! 😄
Even when comparing round-trip fares including 15kg of checked baggage,
Cheongju was ~$243,
while Incheon's Jin Air was ~$265.

For those who can easily get to Cheongju Airport,
there wasn't a strong reason to spend extra time and money on transportation to Incheon
just to choose a more expensive ticket.
For me, convenience from the start is better than gaining a few extra hours on the first day! 😊
5. Discount Booking Tips

Once you've chosen your flight,
make sure to enter a discount code before payment.

it'd be a shame not to use a code at the end, right? 😉
However, eligibility may vary depending on the airline ticket or fare conditions,
so simply check the final amount with the code applied on the payment screen.

with up to 25% off, it's definitely worth comparing, isn't it? 😊

7. My Personal Choice
If I were to book a flight from Cheongju to Nagoya right now,
I'd probably go for a 3-night, 4-day trip from November 17th to 20th.
Departing Cheongju at 13:55,
and arriving in Nagoya at 15:40,
allows you to start exploring from the evening of the first day.

Our return flight also departs at 4:40 PM,
so we had plenty of time on our last day.
Best of all, when I compared flights for the same date to Incheon,
departing from Cheongju was more affordable.
If you're departing from the Chungcheong region,
and the airfare is cheaper and getting to the airport is easier,
I definitely wouldn't bother going all the way to Incheon, haha!

If you're checking a bag,
make sure to compare fares that include 15kg of baggage.
And finally, don't forget to enter a discount code!
