Finding the perfect hotel was definitely the thing I spent the most time on while planning this trip to Osaka.
Even though I’ve been to Osaka several times, finding a place that ticked all my boxes wasn't easy. But then, I discovered the Candeo Hotels!

Osaka Hotel 1
There are two Candeo Hotels in Osaka: Namba and The Tower.
Although they share the same brand, each has its own pros and cons, which had me quite torn. Watch out for the differences!

Since I’m a total sucker for new hotels and will always choose the newer option given the choice, I went ahead and booked The Tower.
Plus, I personally prefer staying in the Umeda or Yodoyabashi areas over Namba.
Osaka Hotel 2
Because the hotel is located on the higher floors, you can easily spot the building from afar.
Just so you know, the lobby is on the 17th floor, and the spa/onsen bath is all the way up on the 31st floor.
My Checklist for Choosing an Osaka Hotel

These are the key factors I always look at when choosing accommodations in Japan, and this hotel checked almost every single box.
1️⃣ Airport Limousine Bus Stop Right at the Hotel Kansai Airport - Hotel: Runs 2–3 times a day |
For short trips, dealing with heavy luggage to and from the airport can be exhausting, so airport accessibility is absolutely crucial.
At Candeo The Tower, you can hop right onto the airport limousine bus on the 1st floor, which is incredibly convenient. The only catch is that it only runs 2–3 times a day, so you'll need to align your schedule with the bus times.

Osaka Hotel 3
The second thing I look for is how close the hotel is to transit for sightseeing. This hotel is just a 7-minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station, which serves the Midosuji Line—the backbone of Osaka’s subway system.
From Yodoyabashi Station, you can travel to Osaka's major hotspots like Namba, Umeda, Tennoji, and Shin-Osaka without any transfers. Plus, you can easily take the Keihan Electric Railway straight to Kyoto.
Additionally, Oebashi Station, which is only a 3-minute walk away, takes you straight to Temmabashi Station right next to Osaka Castle.

While location is key, room condition is the ultimate dealbreaker. Since it was built in 2024, everything was incredibly clean, and it was excellently maintained—living up to its 5-star rating.
Osaka Hotel 4
The room I booked was a Run of House room, which came with twin beds.
Since I was traveling solo, a king bed might have been nice, but the twin room was much cheaper, so I went with that! haha
All the basic amenities were fully provided, and there was a separate luggage storage area, which made organizing my things super convenient.
Unlike typical Japanese accommodations, the room was actually quite spacious!
Osaka Hotel 5
Since the room can accommodate up to three guests, it included a sofa bed, which I used as a cozy spot to enjoy my takeout dinner.
When traveling in Japan, you'll definitely end up eating takeout or convenience store food at some point, so having a sofa and table is an absolute must-have! :)
This place is especially famous for having incredibly beautiful views.
I was assigned a room with a city view, which was slightly obstructed by other buildings, but they placed me on a high floor (the 30th floor), which was fantastic.
The toilet and shower areas were separated, and the bathroom itself was quite spacious.
The amenities had a lovely woody scent that made me feel relaxed and refreshed every time I used them.

Considering the great location, the brand-new facilities, and the 5-star status, the price was only in the early ~$130s on weekdays!
Most 5-star hotels in Osaka easily go for over ~$320, so being able to book this in the ~$130 range felt like incredible value for money.

Osaka Hotel 6
Finally, the absolute highlight of this hotel: the sky-view public bath (onsen)!
It was quite busy with other guests so I couldn't take photos, but it was honestly even more beautiful in person than in the pictures.
Soaking in the warm water while looking out over the Osaka cityscape was absolute heaven—all my travel fatigue instantly melted away.
I went late at night, but I imagine it would be just as stunning during the day or at sunset. You absolutely have to go twice, or even three times...!
I wore the pajamas provided by the hotel to the public bath, and they were incredibly soft and comfortable.
There was a sign asking guests not to take them home—I guess some people actually try to steal them! :(
There’s a FamilyMart convenience store right on the 1st floor, and plenty of local restaurants nearby, making it the perfect spot for late-night snacks.
Without a doubt, this is the hotel with the most stunning sky-view public bath in Osaka. If you're looking for an onsen-style hotel in Osaka, I highly recommend it! 💛

Yes, you can catch a limousine bus to and from Kansai Airport on the 1st floor of the hotel. However, since it only operates 2 to 3 times a day, please check the timetable before your trip.
Check-in is available from 3:00 PM, and check-out is until 11:00 AM. The hotel lobby for check-in is located on the 17th floor of the building.
It is a 7-minute walk from Yodoyabashi Station on the Midosuji Line. Also, you can use Oebashi Station, which is a 3-minute walk away, to easily travel to Temmabashi Station where Osaka Castle is located.
The public hot spring bath is located on the 31st floor of the hotel. You can go there wearing the special pajamas provided in your room, and enjoy the hot spring while taking in the views of downtown Osaka from a high floor.
