Whenever I plan a trip to Osaka, I might consider trying a new place, but

I always find myself thinking of

Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba! Haha.

This time, I traveled with my nieces and nephews, and

it definitely changed my criteria for choosing accommodation

compared to when I travel only with adults.

I considered if it was too far from Dotonbori,

if it was comfortable for everyone to wash up and relax together,

and if the room felt too cramped. And

I was quite satisfied again this time!

Traveling with my nieces and nephews,

it was more important for me to be able to get back to the hotel quickly when they were tired from playing,

Since I was staying with my nieces and nephews this time,

I paid extra attention to the room size.

Some Japanese hotels can be a bit tricky for space – just opening one suitcase

can make it hard to move around. But the room I stayed in

didn't feel cramped at all, which was a pleasant surprise!

and Twin-type, but note that

it's better to prioritize checking the number of beds first,

Although there's a bathtub in the room,

I ended up using the public bath facilities anyway,

so the in-room tub pretty much went unused haha!

When I'm booking accommodation,

I definitely don't just check one place and book it immediately, haha!

4. Grand Public Bath

The biggest reason I keep coming back to this hotel is definitely the grand public bath.

​

After exploring all day with my nieces and nephews,

everyone is already exhausted when we get back to the hotel.

That's when heading up to the 17th-floor Sky Spa feels like the perfect end to the day! haha

There's an indoor bath and an open-air bath,

and the operating hours are from 3 PM

until 11 AM the next day.

Sauna use is restricted from 2 AM to 6 AM.

And this is something you absolutely must remember.

There are no separate towels in the grand public bath,

so it's convenient to bring your towels and room key from your room.

I always loved the grand public bath,

but moving around with my nieces and nephews,

I realized that being able to wash and relax all at once

is an even bigger advantage than I thought.

5. Breakfast

Breakfast is served at the 1st-floor restaurant

from 6:30 AM to 10:00 AM,

with the last entry at 9:30 AM.

so I mostly book rooms without it,

but when traveling with my nieces and nephews, it's a completely different story! haha

This time, traveling with my nieces and nephews,

the easy walk from Dotonbori

and the sheer comfort of the 17th-floor public bath

felt even more significant than on my previous visit, haha!
