When choosing accommodation for an Osaka trip,

one of the most important things to consider is the location.

Especially if you're planning to dive into Dotonbori's delicious food scene and shopping,

and even take a river cruise,

you'll want a place where you can easily walk back, even late at night.

For this Osaka trip,

I stayed at Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba, which boasts a super convenient location near Nihonbashi Station

and within walking distance of Dotonbori,

making both public transport and

exploring on foot a breeze.

But the biggest reason I chose this hotel was

the Sky Spa on the 17th floor!

After a full day of exploring Osaka,

being able to unwind and melt away the fatigue in the open-air bath

definitely set it apart from typical Namba business hotels.

It definitely had a distinct advantage.

Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba Location

If you're embarking on a free-and-easy adventure in Osaka,

one of the biggest advantages of Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba

is, without a doubt, its fantastic location.

The hotel is super close to Nihonbashi Station,

and it's a pleasant walk to Dotonbori's main entertainment and shopping district.

It’s incredibly convenient for exploring the Glico Running Man sign, Don Quijote, Dotonbori's famous eateries,

and taking a river cruise all in one go. So if your trip is centered around Namba and Dotonbori,

you won't even need to hop on the subway every time!

There's a FamilyMart convenience store just about a 2-minute walk from the hotel,

and a cafe roughly a minute away,

making them perfect for grabbing something in the morning or for late-night cravings.

Namba Station is approximately a 10-15 minute walk.

From Namba Station, you can easily reach Umeda,

USJ (Universal Studios Japan), Kyoto, and beyond.

making it super convenient for travelers with Universal Studios on their itinerary!

and public transport readily available for slightly further excursions,

Recommended: Limousine Bus for Kansai Airport Transfer

Getting to and from Kansai Airport was also convenient.

From Kansai Airport Terminal 1,

you can catch a limousine bus that takes you directly to the Doton Plaza area.

You can get there in one go.

Once you step off the bus, the hotel is just a stone's throw away,

meaning no more dragging heavy luggage for ages –

a definite win!

This is especially true for family trips to Osaka with kids,

or journeys with elderly parents,

as it’s far more comfortable than navigating transfers at the airport.

What About the Executive Twin Room?

The room I personally stayed in this time

was the Executive Twin Room.

It's a spacious 18-20㎡, designed with two cozy single beds

and a sofa bed.

The low-set beds made the room feel wonderfully open and spacious, not at all cramped.

Plus, having a dedicated sofa area was fantastic for relaxing or

neatly organizing my belongings.

The room was impeccably clean and well-maintained,

and all the essential amenities were thoughtfully provided.

Checking out is also straightforward.

After checking out at 11 AM

Returning the key to the designated spot

with the express checkout method,

it's great for quick departures on your last day.

Free Luggage Storage on the 1st Floor After Check-out

Personally, a service that was as convenient as the location

was the luggage storage before and after check-out.

On the 1st floor, there's a complimentary self-service luggage storage area available.

Not having to immediately carry my luggage after checking out

was more convenient than I expected.

On your last day, you can store your bags,

enjoy shopping and dining in Dotonbori or Namba,

return to the hotel to pick up your luggage,

and then head to the airport. It's a perfect itinerary!

Reasons to Choose Candeo Hotels

On the 17th floor, the hotel's top level,

there are separate Sky Spas for men and women,

where you can enjoy both the communal bath and the open-air bath.

Operating hours are from 3 PM

until 11 AM the following day,

but please note it is unavailable from 2 AM to 6 AM.

This means you can enjoy it from 3 PM to 2 AM,

and again from 6 AM to 11 AM.

Just put on your robe in your room,

grab a towel, and head up to the 17th floor.

Even after exploring Dotonbori late into the evening,

being able to unwind from travel fatigue in the communal and open-air baths

was my absolute favorite part about Candeo Hotels Osaka Namba!

I visited late in the evening, so it was relatively quiet,

which made for a wonderfully peaceful experience.

With an ice machine, microwave, and laundry room, even travelers staying in Osaka for several days can use them comfortably.

My Top Reasons for Loving This Osaka Namba Stay

Candeo Hotel Osaka Namba truly impressed me with two things in particular: its location and its fantastic public bath (daiyokujo).

It's perfect for walking to Dotonbori, the Glico Man sign, Don Quijote, amazing restaurants, and even river cruises. And after a long day of exploring, you can unwind and melt away your fatigue in the 17th-floor Sky Spa.

Complimentary luggage storage after checkout is available, there are convenience stores and cafes near the hotel, and with all the necessary amenities like a laundry room, it was incredibly comfortable for stays of two nights or more.
