Camia Resort Phu Quoc Review 2026: Sunset & Pool

Out of my three trips to Phu Quoc,

if I had to choose just one place I’d absolutely run back to,

I would choose Camia Resort Phu Quoc without a single moment of hesitation.

With incredibly reasonable rates starting in the low ~$64 range,

and a gorgeous, nature-filled vibe

where you can truly slow down and recharge,

it's easily the best value-for-money resort on the island!

The biggest reason I can't wait to go back to Camia Resort

is its beautifully lush, nature-friendly atmosphere.

Surrounded by vibrant green trees and tropical plants,

no matter where you wander on the property,

they were absolutely magical.

How Does It Compare to Other Resorts in Phu Quoc?

Phu Quoc has plenty of massive, grand-scale resorts like Vinpearl.

Of course, those mega-resorts have great perks, like onsite water parks and tons of activities.

But since I wanted a peaceful, private escape rather than a bustling crowd,

Camia Resort was the absolute perfect fit for me.

It’s slightly tucked away from the main town center,

but that’s actually a huge plus because we got to enjoy serene, uninterrupted quiet.

If you're looking to escape the noisy hustle

and find pure, natural healing...

Especially for couples, I think this place offers

a much higher level of satisfaction than massive resorts.

Deluxe Garden View Room: Detailed Review

We stayed in a Deluxe Garden View room on the second floor.

As soon as we opened the door, a spacious bed and

a terrace overlooking the lush, green garden

instantly caught our eyes.

Even though it wasn't our anniversary, they treated us like honeymooners

with beautifully arranged swan towels and flower petals,

which was such a lovely surprise!

Sitting on the terrace and looking out at the forest-like canopy of trees,

my mind instantly found peace.

We did spot a tiny lizard here and there, but

surprisingly, there were almost no bugs,

and the room was so sparkling clean that we had an incredibly comfortable stay.

Inside the closet, they provided "Non La" (traditional Vietnamese conical hats),

and the bathroom featured a cozy little bathtub.

The tiny, thoughtful details—like the flower petals floating in the sink—

really made us feel warmly welcomed.

Aside from the Deluxe Garden View,

there are 5 different room types, including Ocean Views and private villas,

so you can choose the one that fits your travel style best!

Amenities & Breakfast Review

The absolute highlight of Kamia Resort

is definitely its two swimming pools.

There's one located right near the reception,

and another gorgeous infinity pool right in front of the private beach.

The infinity pool is open from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM,

and the sunset view from here is absolutely breathtaking.

If you snap a photo while sitting on the nearby swing,

you're guaranteed a new profile-worthy shot!

The private beach is also pristine and well-maintained,

making it the perfect spot to go canoeing or just lounge on a sunbed and unwind.

I highly recommend visiting the Sunset Restaurant for dinner.

It's open to non-guests too, but

I made sure to reserve a prime table in advance.

Having dinner while watching the colors of the sunset shift by the minute

was an absolutely unforgettable experience.

Breakfast is served buffet-style at the outdoor restaurant,

and I loved that the menu changed slightly every day.

The freshly made-to-order omelets and baked goods

were particularly delicious.

Camia Resort Phu Quoc was the ultimate place

that gifted us the perfect, relaxing escape.

Breathtaking nature, mesmerizing sunsets,

super friendly staff, and mouthwatering food—

everything was absolutely spot-on.

Plus, you can rent a motorbike directly from the resort for just 200,000 VND (around $8 USD),

which made exploring the surrounding area incredibly easy and fun!

Check-in is at 3 PM, and check-out is at 12 PM,

giving us plenty of time to wind down without rushing.

All the facilities were sparkling clean and super comfortable to use.
