I spent a night in the brand-new wing of
Yeosu Calacatta Hotel & Resort,
specifically in the gorgeous Young Suite room!
2 Queen Beds + Ocean View (approx. 667 sq ft / 62m²)
Comfortably accommodating anywhere from 2 to 4 guests,
it's an incredibly spacious room to relax in! 💙
The absolute first thing that caught my eye as soon as I walked in
was the stunning ocean view stretching out beyond the floor-to-ceiling windows.
It was incredibly beautiful! 💕 - !
The room I just showed you is actually in the ~$64+ range!
Even just focusing on the room itself, the price, quality, and view were absolutely perfect! 👍
During the off-season, I booked it at the lowest rate available at the time,
and got such a great deal!!
Prices can climb to the ~$128 to ~$192 range during peak weekend season.

Beyond the gorgeous view, the bedding and cleanliness of the
Young Suite room were absolutely flawless. 👍
I especially loved the marble floor!
Most hotels have dark, carpeted floors that make you feel a bit uneasy,
but I had absolutely zero worries here!
It even made the room look so much brighter and airier~
To be honest, I rushed through booking whatever rooms were left
without looking at many reviews beforehand.
But wow, the room was so much larger than I expected!!
Even with all our bags lined up on the floor, we had plenty of space to move around comfortably.
There's even a dedicated space to store your luggage,
so you definitely won't feel cramped in the room!
The clothes rack, sink, shower room,
and toilet booth are all separated.
They are divided by sliding doors and
frosted glass doors, but keep in mind
that soundproofing in the bathroom might be a bit lacking!
Just something to keep in mind! 😉
Underneath the clothes rack, you'll find
extra toilet paper and towels!

One slightly disappointing thing is that
the swimming pools and facilities require an extra fee.

There's also an infinity pool right in front of the Calacatta building.
Great for soaking up a lively party atmosphere,
making it the ultimate choice for an adults' getaway! 💕

Let's dive right in.
Here is the Calacatta Outdoor Swimming Pool,
located right by the Young Suite room I stayed in.
It's super close to the rooms,
making it incredibly convenient to head straight back up
to shower and relax after swimming!
This is probably the Calacatta Indoor Pool!
Since it's quite a distance from the Laterrace side,
there were barely any kids or other guests around.
I did drop by the Laterrace indoor pool later,
and let me tell you, it was packed...
Each zone definitely has its own distinct vibe!
This is the Santorini-themed pool over at Laterrace.
Isn't it gorgeous? It's the perfect spot to feel like you've jetted off abroad!
The La Terrasse Wing Outdoor Pool is quite spacious!
It's perfect for kids to play in!
This is the La Terrasse Wing Indoor Pool.
Adults can ride too!
I even saw dads riding with their really young babies.
I rode it about twice too, haha, it was so much fun!
(I asked the lifeguard, and they said it's allowed)
Even though you don't see many people in the photos,
that's just because I took them during a short break.
There are truly so many kids here!
The Aloha Village is also charmingly and beautifully decorated!
The outdoor Izakaya Mankai, located inside the resort -!
I had already gone out for dinner, so I just took a peek~
It's great because you can really feel a Japanese ambiance here.
You can have a proper resort stay without ever leaving the resort...💕
It even has a convenience store and a game room - ⭐️

Since Kalakatta is a new wing, it's very popular,
so I highly recommend booking quickly!
I was initially going to book a Premium room, which was only about ~$13-19 more,
but while I was deliberating between that and La Terrasse, I missed out on the room
and ended up in a Young Suite ~!
It was a bit of a shame, but I still had a completely satisfying stay.
Prices can fluctuate a lot during peak season,
so please check the prices for your travel dates

an incredible spot for couple trips & getaways with friends.
Families with adult children will love it here too! ~!
Since I visited before the peak summer season,
I was lucky enough to book the Young Suite in the ~$64 range for a weekend,
but the weather was still a bit chilly... haha.
My only regret was not being able to enjoy it for longer.
That's why I think those who visit during the peak summer vacation season
will actually get to enjoy this place
to its absolute fullest!
