For Yantai travel itinerary, flight, and accommodation tips,
I've compiled all the best advice in a separate post below.

Swimming Pool
Opening Hours: 08:00 ~ 20:00
✅️ Swim cap required
✅️ Please note that break times may apply depending on pool operations

Once you step out of the hotel elevator on the 22nd floor,
you'll find the gym on your left and the swimming pool on your right.

I'm not much of an expert on gym equipment, so I'll skip the detailed review of that!

And here's a glimpse of the swimming pool at Brigh Radiance Hotel Yantai.
To enter the pool, simply tell the staff your room number,
and you can also request towels.

It's not massive, but it's perfectly sized for a few casual laps or for kids to splash around.
I heard that sometimes swimming lessons might overlap during the day,
but when I visited in the evening, it was wonderfully peaceful.
It's great that it's open from early morning until late at night.
My mom, who went for a swim early the next morning, said it even offers a slight sea view.

Beyond the swimming lanes, the overall space isn't incredibly vast.
Still, there are separate changing rooms and showers for women and men.

I took a picture of the shower room since no one else was there.

(+) If you get thirsty after swimming,
you can freely make use of the generously provided water
available on every guest room floor!
Breakfast: Four Season's Restaurant (2nd Floor)
Breakfast Hours: 6:30 AM ~ 10:00 AM
A buffet style featuring a mix of Western and Chinese cuisine, along with local Yantai specialties.
Kimchi is also sometimes available.

Breakfast at Yantai Bright Radiance Hotel is served at the Four Season's Restaurant on the 2nd floor.
I went for all three days, and the menu didn't change much.
While it might lack a luxurious feel, it offers great value for money.

Our room reservation included breakfast,
but if you wish to enjoy it on-site,
✅️ it's available for an adult at 60 CNY and a child at 40 CNY! (for hotel guests)
Bakery and Beverage Corner

When I visited, Zootopia 2 had just been released and was at the peak of its popularity,
so Zootopia OST music was playing constantly,
and there were decorations everywhere, haha!

Bread, muffins, croissants, egg tarts, bagels,
the bread section also includes butter and various fruit jams.

Beverages like fruit juice, milk, and coffee are also available at the entrance.

What was particularly impressive was that ✅️gaoliang liquor (sorghum spirit) and brandy were offered starting in the morning...
I thought about giving it a try, but in the end, I didn't get to, haha.
Cold Food

A self-serve salad bar and various pickled vegetables.
On some days, kimchi was also available, which was a pleasant surprise!
Noodle and Handmade Dumpling Corner

This corner offers a variety of local noodles and handmade specialties like mackerel dumplings,
where you can order freshly made local dishes.
You can choose the vegetables you want and point to or tell them your desired dish,
and they'll either prepare it right away or, since it's handmade, ask you to come back in a few minutes.

After receiving it, you can add your preferred broth or toppings, and it's delicious!
The mackerel dumplings took a bit longer, but they were restaurant-quality, so I really enjoyed them.
Highly recommended if you love a rich fish flavor!
Hot Food Corner

Beyond standard breakfast items like sausages, bacon, and scrambled eggs,
they put considerable effort into the daily changing selection of dumplings, steamed buns, and dim sum
(+ with Yantai-style dried seafood accompaniments).
The item on the far right was baked apples – I wonder if I should have tried them.

Egg variations like tea eggs, boiled eggs, and chawanmushi.

Pickled side dishes and egg fried rice,
as well as Chinese breakfast staples like Youtiao.
Though not pictured, there were also various pizzas
(be warned, durian pizza might be among them...)
And of course, yogurt and fruits.
Instant Fresh Juice Corner

If I had to pick the highlights of the breakfast,
the first would be the Gaoliang liquor (?), and the second is this ✅️ Instant Fresh Juice Corner!
They had a machine similar to a Hurom juicer,
where you could cut your desired fruit and vegetable combinations on a cutting board and juice them yourself.

The fruit lineup might change slightly depending on the season,
but when I visited, they had apples, pears, carrots, celery, and cucumbers.
Being able to juice Yantai's famous apples and pears, which are quite expensive even in Korea,
to your heart's content,
if breakfast is included, I'd say you'd already get your money's worth just from the juice!
(Someone put fruit in too big,
and it broke down once while I was there, haha.)

Near the hotel parking lot, there's a convenient store
that offers various foods like dumplings, fried rice, and pickled vegetables for takeaway.
It's a great spot to grab a quick bite!

The seafood specialty restaurant at the top of the hotel also has great reviews,
and they say the views and prices are quite good too.

Another reason I booked the Brai Radiance Hotel Yantai
was its close proximity to Yantai No. 1 Bathing Beach!

Since our room also had an ocean view,
Yantai No. 1 Bathing Beach was less than a 5-minute walk away,
making it perfect for enjoying the sea.

Everyone was busy feeding the seagulls, and that scene, coupled with the morning sun, was quite picturesque.
Though I hesitated to feed them myself, haha.
Actually, when I booked the room on Trip.com,
late-night dumplings and even seagull food were included;
it was such a generous package that I couldn't even use everything!
If you're planning a value-for-money 2-night, 3-day or 3-night, 4-day trip to Yantai,
I highly recommend the Brai Radiance Hotel Yantai!
