Why I Chose It as My Phu Quoc Accommodation
Phu Quoc truly has a plethora of amazing resorts.
I compared many accommodations before booking, and ultimately,
I chose this place for three main reasons.
**✔ Accommodation with many Korean reviews**
**✔ Convenient location near the airport**
**✔ Spacious swimming pool**

I found tons of positive Korean reviews for Best Western.
**The numerous good reviews built my trust**, and ultimately,
I ended up booking it with my own money.
**②** As I had to go to the airport on the last day of my trip,
I wanted to minimize travel hassle, so
**I chose it for its accessibility to the airport**.
**③** Most importantly, the **swimming pool here is absolutely massive**.
It boasts an **enormous 300-meter-long lagoon pool**.
I even think it might be the biggest in all of Phu Quoc...

**2. Accessibility to Tourist Attractions Around the Resort**
When I was booking accommodation,
the aspect I researched most was its **location**.
Since it was my accommodation for the last day of my Phu Quoc trip,
**I really wanted it to be close to the airport**.
From Best Western Premier Sonasea Resort to
Phu Quoc International Airport, it takes **14 minutes by car**.

Since it's a famous 5-star resort,
when I called a Grab taxi, a car arrived very quickly.
It was easy to get to Duong Dong Night Market comfortably,
and also to King Kong Mart and the international airport.
Also, the Best Western resort is just a 9-minute walk from
Sonasea Night Market and a supermarket.
The resort itself is peaceful and quiet, making it wonderful for relaxation,
and with a supermarket and market nearby,
you can also enjoy shopping and sightseeing,
making it efficient and convenient for getting around.

3. Honest Review: Rooms, Pool, & Breakfast
① Rooms
Check-in 3 PM / Check-out 12 PM
The first thing I noticed upon entering the room was how
clean and comfortable it was.
+ I was worried because when I looked up reviews,
'bed bugs' appeared as a related search term,
but staying there, I experienced absolutely nothing of the sort...
I just slept comfortably and pleasantly.
My friend and I went on a trip to Vietnam, so we booked the
Deluxe Garden View Twin Room with two single beds
option.
The beds were comfortable, and there was a sofa, chairs, and a table,
plus the bathroom was quite spacious, making it a very comfortable
and convenient stay.
With a sink and microwave,
the Best Western Phu Quoc would be perfect for families
traveling to Phu Quoc with children.
It's convenient for warming up baby food,
and you can also do some light cooking in the room.
② Pool
Operating Hours: 7:00 AM ~ 7:00 PM
The Best Western Sonasea Phu Quoc pool is truly massive.
It's perfect for anyone who loves to swim!
There are also sunbeds, so I could leave my bag, towel, robe, etc., and
enjoy swimming without worrying about my belongings.
The main pool in front of the resort is great for kids,
and the expansive lagoon pool is perfect for adults.
I didn't bring a float, so I rented one at the resort.
The float rental price was 100,000 VND per hour, and I paid in cash.
There was a variety of sizes and types of floats.
I rented a large one, but it was too big and uncomfortable...
The pool is so huge that strong swimmers might feel like they're
flying through the water... but if you're not a confident swimmer,
I recommend bringing your own appropriately-sized float or arm float
from home!

The pool also connects to a private beach.
Being able to enjoy the sea right away without going far is a big advantage of staying at the resort!
I saw many families strolling along the beach.
③ Breakfast
Operating Hours: 6:00 AM ~ 10:30 AM
The breakfast was also beyond expectations!
With everything from Vietnamese dishes to various Western and Korean options,
it was great to have such a diverse spread to enjoy.
The freshly made pho noodles
were a particularly satisfying dish.
I had two bowls of pho! ✌️
However, it can get quite busy,
so if you visit a bit earlier, you can enjoy your meal more leisurely.
Keep that in mind!
