Heads Up Before You Book!
Here's a little heads-up! Right near the New World Beijing Hotel, there's another hotel with a strikingly similar name: 'New World Beijing Hotel'. It's super easy to get them mixed up!
Even their English names are a bit alike, but trust me, these are two entirely different hotels, so pay close attention!

First, the fantastic ✅️ 'New World Beijing Hotel' – the one I stayed at this time – boasts exceptionally spacious rooms with a decidedly luxurious finish. As a 5-star gem from the renowned Hong Kong New World Group, it's perfect for a relaxing 'hocance' (hotel vacation), offering the luxury of bathtubs in every room and a wonderful swimming pool to unwind in.
Its English address is Dongcheng-qu, No. 8 Qinian Street. And to clarify any confusion, the exact English name for this particular 'New World Beijing Hotel' is, indeed, New World Beijing Hotel (北京新世界酒店).

Conversely, the ✅️ New World Beijing Hotel (the other one!) truly shines with its excellent value for money and fantastic family room options, including spacious family suites. It's also super convenient, being right next to the Shinsegae Department Store. Naturally, since it's more budget-friendly, you won't find in-room bathtubs or a swimming pool here!
Its English name is specifically 'Beijing New World Centre Tongpai Hotel'.

Where to Find the New World Beijing Hotel

The New World Beijing Hotel boasts an absolutely prime location, placing you just moments away from iconic landmarks like Tiananmen Square, the majestic Forbidden City, the bustling Wangfujing shopping street, the serene Temple of Heaven, and the historic Qianmen Street. This makes planning your exploration so incredibly easy!
And here's a bonus – I was thrilled to discover a plethora of chic bars and cozy cafes with fantastic vibes nearby, including the renowned Tiao Bar at the Mandarin Oriental Qianmen Hotel, recently celebrated as one of Asia's 50 Best Bars. What a treat!

✅️ Subway: Chongwenmen Station (Line 2 & Line 5) – Approx. 10-minute walk
✅️ Tiananmen Square: Approx. 8 minutes by car
✅️ Wangfujing: Approx. 5 minutes by car
✅️ Temple of Heaven Park: 15-25 minutes walk, under 10 minutes by taxi
✅️ Beijing Railway Station: Approx. 10+ minutes by car
✅️ Capital Airport: Approx. 45+ minutes by car
It's much less commercial than Wangfujing, making it an even better choice if you prefer a relaxed or a more tranquil atmosphere!
Lobby & Check-in

The bellhops at New World Beijing Hotel were so kind and professional that
they helped with our luggage as soon as we got out of the taxi.

As soon as you step into the lobby, you're greeted with a ✅️ sophisticated and luxurious atmosphere, truly befitting a 5-star hotel!
At the far end of the photo is Tian Tan Kitchen, the main restaurant offering everything from breakfast to dinner.

Here’s a look at the central lobby lounge bar, where you can relax comfortably even without ordering drinks or food!
The drinks and bakery items served at the lounge bar
will be introduced in the next review of the hotel's facilities, including the swimming pool and gym!

To the right of the lounge are the ✅️ check-in counter, concierge, and elevators.
Check-in: 3 PM Check-out: 12 PM

With multiple counters, we could proceed right away without any waiting, and
the staff were all friendly and efficient, which made us feel good right from check-in!
Amenities were also available to try out or smell directly.

Although New World Beijing Hotel didn't have connecting rooms,
thanks to their excellent arrangement of adjacent rooms, we were able to enjoy our stay both individually and together.
Make sure to leave your requests in advance!

The ✅️delivery zone is located by going to the far end of the counter or the far end of the elevators, so
you can pick up any ordered items or delivery food here – keep that in mind!

✅️ Guest Rooms: 4th-9th floors
✅️ Swimming Pool, Gym, Spa: 3rd floor
Please refer to the hotel's floor guide as well!

The overall calm lighting and ambiance, combined with the marble interior, really elevate the sense of luxury.
With a total of four elevators, you'll always find one quickly.

The hallways are also meticulously maintained, and we were assigned to the 7th floor, so off to our room we went!

Superior Twin Room

The moment I opened the door to our generously sized 50㎡ room and stepped inside, I was impressed!
The immaculate and luxurious marble bathroom with wood finishes, along with the subtle lighting and elegant Oriental-style interior, immediately captivated me!

Each bed comes with two pillows of the same size, and thanks to the incredibly plush duvet and super comfy bed, you're guaranteed a fantastic night's sleep!
It was actually more spacious than it looked, so sleeping with my youngest wasn't an issue at all. Plus, all rooms are non-smoking, which means a fresh and clean environment!
If you're traveling with kids, definitely keep this in mind!

You'll find everything you need for comfort right by the bed: bedside light controls, curtain buttons, and charging outlets.

The ✅️sofa and mini side table were absolutely perfect for enjoying snacks and drinks!

The television primarily offers Chinese channels.

The ✅️desk is perfectly optimized for both work and study, and you'll find a variety of ports, including HDMI, for connecting to the television.

Room service offers a wonderful array of options, so be sure to check out the menu!

The ✅️refrigerator, bottled water, mugs, glass cups, and kettle are all conveniently stored within this spacious wall cabinet.

✅️ Instant coffee, tea bags, teacups, a kettle, and bottled water are provided.
What's amazing is that the refrigerator was restocked daily with **two different types of extra mineral water**, so we always had plenty to enjoy.

The air conditioning was also fantastic, making it easy to control the temperature and humidity!
And the **wardrobe having a full-length mirror** was super handy when getting ready.

With ample space, **various types of hangers** are provided.
A **safe** is also available here for your convenience.

We were delighted to find fluffy, high-quality **✅️ room slippers, extra bathrobes, and a laundry bag** provided.
For **✅️ laundry services**, please refer to the price list!

The **✅️ luggage storage space** was also generous and very convenient.

The Bathroom

The bathroom area is distinct from the bedroom, separated by a sliding door and finished with elegant marble.
✅️ I loved how the bathtub area, shower, toilet, and vanity were all spacious and separated!

There are two sliding doors – one leading to the bedroom and one at the entrance to the bathroom area.
Both can be locked, ensuring a private experience.

The vanity, with its convenient storage space for everyday toiletries,
also featured a mirror light and a magnifying mirror, which made getting ready so much easier.

As for amenities, **✅️ **toothbrush and toothpaste, a comb, a shaving kit, a shower cap, cotton swabs, and cotton pads are provided.
Plus, **MALIN+GOETZ hand wash and body lotion** are provided,
adding an extra touch of luxury!

You'll also find a **✅️ hairdryer and a scale**.

The ✅️ bathtub area, which looks absolutely perfect for a hotel staycation in Beijing,
is nestled right into a cozy space!

The bathroom area, where the water drains perfectly,

With both a ✅️ rain showerhead and a standard showerhead available,
it was perfect for unwinding after a long day of travel. And the water pressure was amazing!
They even offered the thoughtful service of providing fresh foot towels daily.

The ✅️ body wash, shampoo, and conditioner were also consistently MALIN+GOETZ products, which was a nice touch.
Room City View

The guest rooms are on floors 4-9, and we were on the 7th floor.
Interestingly, all rooms at New World Beijing Hotel are city view rooms!

The room we were assigned overlooked
a sprawling apartment complex (quite upscale, despite appearances) in central Beijing, along with a school and its sports field.
This allowed us to experience Beijing's daily life up close, even while traveling.

The room was wonderfully bright with ample sunlight, and there was absolutely no ambient noise, which was very satisfying!
