While looking for an indoor date spot to escape the hot and humid weather,

I thoroughly compared the Admission Ticket vs. Total Pass, sorted out the parking situation,

and put together all the details including a price comparison. Here is my honest review! 😊

Admission Ticket vs. Total Pass: What's the difference? (Price Comparison & Discounts)

When I went to book, I noticed they had two options: the Admission Ticket and the Total Pass.

The price difference wasn't huge, so I was tempted to just get the Total Pass, but I decided to compare them first.

Our travel schedule was a bit tight to squeeze in the 5D movie, so we went with just the standard Admission Ticket.

✔ We booked online in advance and got a discounted adult ticket for about ~$18. (Discount rates can vary, so make sure to check before you book!)

✔ The best part about booking online was that we didn't need to print physical tickets—we just scanned the barcode and walked right in!

No waiting in line at the ticket booth!

Yeosu Aqua Planet Parking & Fees

We parked at the Yeosu Expo Parking Lot.

Keep in mind that Aqua Planet does not have its own dedicated parking lot,

and unfortunately, they do not offer any parking discounts. 😥

It's about a 5 to 7-minute walk from the parking lot to the Aqua Planet entrance. If it's a super hot day or if you're traveling with kids, I highly recommend checking the walking route beforehand!

What kind of sea creatures and animals live at Yeosu Aqua Planet?

The very first ones we met were the African Penguins!

Looks like these two are dating! ><

The jellyfish looked absolutely magical and dreamlike under the colorful lights!

The super energetic green sea turtle and South American sea lion!

Watching the beluga whale and the mermaid show was so much fun! haha

Perfect Indoor Date: Photo Zones and Interactive Zones

On the 1st floor lobby, you'll find a food court and a gift shop.

It's a great place to browse around for strawberry mochi, plushies, and cute souvenirs.

There's also a Play Zone packed with arcade games like claw machines, making it a super fun spot that kids will absolutely love!

Once you pass the aquarium entrance and head toward the Marine Life zone,

you'll spot the Stamp Tour vending machine.

There was also an Aqua Land DIY Zone.

You can make a gel-filled fishbowl here, which apparently doubles as an air freshener.

Just walking near it, you could smell the lovely fragrance floating through the air! haha

They were selling adorable keyrings too!

There's an Aqua Studio on-site,

which is the perfect spot to capture memories with some Korean-style photobooth strips.

Whether you're visiting with kids or on a romantic date,

these photo zones will have you snapping tons of pictures!

Walking through these flowing, liquid-like light installations

felt like stepping right into a dreamy scene from a sci-fi movie. I absolutely loved the vibe! haha

You can also experience a transparent boat ride over the main tank at the Ocean Life Hall.

We missed out on the show programs due to our tight schedule,

but I highly recommend checking the schedule in advance so you can catch the shows during your visit!

The gift shop also has incredibly cute plushies for sale!

They were so soft and squishy that I had to hold myself back from buying them all! 🥲

Helga Stentzel Special Exhibition in Yeosu

The special exhibition ticket is already included in your general admission!

I walked in with zero expectations, but it was absolutely my cup of tea!

You seriously have to check out the Helga Stentzel Special Exhibition in Yeosu! haha

Honestly, I found this exhibition even more fun than the aquarium itself! 😍

The artist is a surrealist photographer who whimsically reimagines everyday objects, and the pieces were incredibly cute and so cleverly imaginative.

Once you finish the exhibition, there's also a gift shop selling Helga merchandise! haha

I seriously wanted to buy everything, but I barely managed to hold myself back... phew!
