Adagio Annecy Centre Review 2026: Perfect for Three Travelers

I've arrived in Annecy, a city beloved by the French.

I spent a night at Adagio, a hotel that perfectly complements Annecy's peaceful and quiet atmosphere.

It's a great value, and since you can cook there, it was a super comfortable stay. Let me introduce you to this Annecy hotel! 🤍

My trip, which began in Nice, France, has now brought me through the Verdon Gorge and all the way to Annecy.

Annecy had me even more excited because it's known as the

"number one city where French people want to retire."

Just so you know, we traveled from Nice to Verdon and then to Annecy by rental car.

Our plan was to stay here for one night and then head to Chamonix the next day.

A huge thank you to my friend who drove over 300km from Verdon to Annecy...

Typically, people often combine Paris and Annecy, usually traveling by TGV train.

Annecy Station is also very close to the hotel.

Next time I'm in France, it would be great to combine Paris and Annecy.

One night in Annecy just wasn't enough... 🥹

It's a short day, but I'm going to make the most of it and enjoy every moment!

The place I stayed for one night in Annecy today is

ApartHotel Adagio Annecy

As the name suggests, it's a residence-style hotel part of the Accor group.

I specifically looked for a hotel with cooking facilities so I could enjoy the Korean food I'd brought all the way from home, which led me here.

But even without the cooking facilities, I was completely satisfied with both the amenities and the location!

Now, we needed to return the rental car and catch an early morning bus to Chamonix the next day, and it took less than a 10-minute walk to get to the bus stop.

(Both Annecy Station and the bus stop are a 10-minute walk away.)

Since Adagio Hotel is a residence-style hotel, it has a casual, 3-star feel.

Inside the lobby on the first floor, there's a space where you can enjoy breakfast.

You can also easily buy drinks and snacks here.

It was during the World Cup at the time, so there were related decorations

up in the lobby.

The hotel has a total of 7 floors,

and even features a basement parking lot, a gym, and a sauna!

The facilities are pretty great!

Studio for 3 people

The room we'll be staying in tonight is a Studio (for 3 people),

equipped with one queen bed and one sofa bed.

The room isn't huge,

so it might be a bit snug for opening three suitcases.

The kitchen is connected to the living room.

It's a bit small for elaborate cooking,

but perfect for heating up simple meals or enjoying cup noodles!

You'll find all the plates and utensils in the drawers.

This is the room with the queen bed.

What's unique is that the shower is right next to this room,

while the toilet is separate, back near the living room area.

This is the shower room inside;

there's no toilet here.

It's great to have them separate for convenience,

though it can be a bit inconvenient when you just need to wash your hands, haha.

And the room even has a terrace!

The weather fairy truly blessed us on this day!

From the terrace, you can enjoy an expansive, unobstructed view.

The atmosphere is incredibly peaceful and quiet.

It was a short day, but we also got to enjoy a picnic

by Lake Annecy,

And we had a delightful day!

The hotel in Annecy was so perfectly located that

we didn't need to rent a car or use public transport while we were here.

We just walked everywhere!

Strolling through this peaceful and beautiful town,

it's easy to see why the French adore this city so much.
