9h Nine Hours Nagoya Station Review 2026: Capsule Hotel Experience
Discover the 9h Nine Hours Nagoya Station, a clean and comfortable capsule hotel just a 5-minute walk from Nagoya Station. Perfect for solo or budget travelers!
Hey there, I'm Chwikkaeng-i! :)
Today, I want to introduce you to an accommodation that I frequently visit whenever I travel to Japan, whether I'm solo or with friends!
It's none other than 9h Nine Hours Station!
It's famous as a solo traveler's accommodation in Japan, and I recently tried it out during my trip to Nagoya.
When you travel in Japan, you often move around a lot using subways or trains,
so when I choose accommodation in Japan, I prioritize transportation
above all else👀
Many hotels in Japan have small rooms, so capsule hotels are surprisingly great!
This time, I used it with a friend, and it was much cleaner and more comfortable than I expected, so I was really satisfied 💗
Now, I'll share my honest review of the stay!

We walked there from Nagoya Station!
It's located in a bustling area, so it was easy to get to even with luggage,
and it's just about a 5-minute walk, making it a pretty great location for anyone looking for accommodation near Nagoya Station 👍🏻

The first floor is the lobby, and it also operates as a cafe, so there were quite a few people enjoying coffee ☕
Especially when I went down in the morning, I saw many Japanese people enjoying their coffee and leisurely spending their time.
The atmosphere was quiet and clean, so it seemed like a great spot to grab a quick coffee in the morning.

When checking in, I showed my passport, and the staff member kindly guided me in English!
The front desk operates 24 hours, so it's perfectly fine for those checking in late.

✔️3 Towels
✔️Toothbrush, Toothpaste
✔️Slippers
✔️Pajamas
It's a place where you just need to bring yourself! 👍🏻

The 3rd floor houses the changing rooms, complete with lockers and showers.
Floors 4-6 are dedicated to the sleeping pods,
and the 10th floor is where you'll find the cozy lounge area.

After checking in, grabbing the bag filled with amenities,
we headed up to the 3rd floor.
Each guest gets their own locker,
and there's ample space at the bottom to neatly tuck away your luggage.
Storing our bags was surprisingly convenient!⭐️

And what I personally found most impressive was
the individual shower rooms! They were fantastic!👍🏻
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash are all thoughtfully provided,
and the pleasant scent made for a truly refreshing shower!🫧
It seems they have dedicated cleaning times, because
the entire facility was impeccably clean and well-maintained.

Right after your shower, you'll find a powder zone conveniently located,
making it super easy to dry your hair and get ready.
However, I did bring my hair straightener along,
and it was a slight bummer that I couldn't easily use it due to Japan's different voltage.🥲

To be honest, one of my friends initially
was a little apprehensive, thinking a capsule hotel might feel too cramped and stuffy,
But once she actually stepped inside, she was pleasantly surprised, remarking that it was much more spacious and cozier than she'd imagined,
and she actually had a fantastic night's sleep!🤎

Perfect for solo travelers in Nagoya,
it offered more than enough space for one person,
and that cozy vibe was absolutely delightful!💭
You'll find a plush, hotel-quality duvet ready for you,
and the lighting brightness is fully adjustable to your preference.
✅They even have a USB port, so
I highly recommend bringing your USB charging cable! It's a lifesaver!
And my biggest concern about staying in a capsule hotel
was definitely noise, but let me tell you, it was seriously, incredibly quiet!🤫
Guests even step outside the pods to take phone calls,
creating an atmosphere where everyone respectfully observes quiet hours.
I was a little worried about potential snorers,
but I actually had an incredibly restful sleep!😴

They even provide earplugs,
so if you're concerned about noise,
be sure to grab them when you check in on the 1st floor!!⭐️
But honestly, I had a blissful sleep even without them!😝

Here's a peek at the stylish lounge area, perfectly situated on the 10th floor.
It's a fantastic spot because free Wi-Fi is available throughout (including all rooms), so
you'll often see people catching up on work,
and it's perfectly fine to grab a quick bite here, which is great because...
we were absolutely starving! So, we quickly popped to the convenience store right outside
and brought back some delicious onigiri to enjoy right here!ㅋㅋㅋ🍙
With comfy sofas and a pretty decent view,
it's the perfect spot to kick back and relax for a bit.
What truly stood out to me was that the Nagoya Station branch of Nine Hours
had an even better ambiance than other Nine Hours locations I've visited across Japan!
The consistently clean and quiet environment made our stay exceptionally comfortable.
For solo adventurers or those exploring with a small group of friends,
I wholeheartedly recommend the Nine Hours Capsule Hotel!💗
My friend, in particular, who had always avoided capsule hotels thinking they'd be cramped and stuffy,
after finally experiencing it, was thrilled to find it far more spacious and cozy than anticipated,
and slept wonderfully, leaving her completely satisfied!
So, if you're planning a trip and looking for fantastic accommodation near Nagoya Station, or...
If you're looking for a clean capsule hotel in Nagoya,
I think it's definitely worth trying out at least once! 😊
Even on my next trip to Japan,
if there's a Nine Hours, I'd probably use it again!
