First of all, the location is absolutely incredible.
It is within easy walking distance of the MixC Mall, the Olympic Sailing Center, and May Fourth Square.
If you are visiting Qingdao for the first time or looking for a central downtown base, this is the perfect spot!
Plus, it perfectly nails the trifecta of spotless cleanliness, spacious rooms, and incredible value.

As soon as you walk up to the entrance, the beautiful circular fountain welcomes you.
Right from the start, you get those undeniable 5-star luxury vibes. It feels exceptionally upscale.
Since it is a relatively new building, everything from the interior design to the subtle scent in the air feels high-end.
The lobby boasts incredibly high ceilings, stunning lighting, and gorgeous marble textures.
Check-in was quick and smooth, and the staff spoke English well, which made things so much easier.
Qingdao is truly the place to enjoy 5-star luxury at an amazingly affordable price!

With plenty of space for the table, sofa, and storage, this layout is perfect for both family vacations and business travelers.
Here is a quick booking tip: the Superior Garden View Twin Room is actually cheaper than the Select Double Room, but it offers significantly more square footage.
That is exactly why we went with the twin room setup!
The Bathroom — Marble Aesthetics & Incredible Water Pressure
The bathroom design is incredibly clean and sleek.
The marble sink, backlit mirror, and modern lighting feel very luxurious, and the shower's water pressure is strong enough to melt away all your travel fatigue.
They also provide high-quality liquid hand wash instead of standard bar soap, and the amenities smelled so amazing I wanted to take them home.
The hair dryer provided was exceptionally powerful—drying my hair in record time. It felt like a high-end salon dryer!
The water pressure here is seriously impressive—it feels almost like a private jet spa!
A Room with a View — Watching the Skyline Glow
Looking out the window, you can see the ocean shimmering in the distance between the modern high-rises under a clear blue sky.
At night, we were able to watch the famous city laser light show directly from our room. We didn't even have to brave the crowds at May Fourth Square!
Sipping a cold local beer while watching the skyline light up was pure bliss.
The mini-fridge came stocked with complimentary local drinks and premium Laoshan spring water, alongside a tea setup and snacks.
Be sure to try the classic Chinese cola—it is surprisingly delicious!
