Qingdao MixC Luckin Coffee: Best Menu & Ordering Guide

Luckin Coffee, renowned across China for its incredible value and delicious brews, has become a household name for coffee lovers!

Qingdao boasts numerous Luckin Coffee locations, but during a recent shopping trip to the sprawling MixC mall (also known as Wanxiangcheng), I decided to check out the branch on the third floor.

You'll find this Luckin Coffee conveniently located on the L3 level of MixC Phase 2.

Don't expect a traditional sit-down cafe with lots of tables; this location operates more like a dedicated takeout spot. You'll likely enjoy your drink at one of the mall's public seating areas or take it to go.

In fact, many of the popular bubble tea and coffee vendors within MixC follow this model, making them perfect for grabbing a quick refreshment while you shop or to bring back to your accommodation.

Ordering is a breeze! Simply scan the QR code displayed in the store using your Alipay or WeChat Pay app. This will take you directly to Luckin Coffee's ordering interface. If you're using Alipay, you'll find its built-in translation feature incredibly handy for navigating the menu!

The ordering process typically goes like this:

→ Select your desired drink

→ Choose in-store pickup

→ Customize options like ice level, sweetness, and bean type

→ Pay with Alipay or WeChat Pay

And you're all set!

Once your payment is complete, you'll see your order number and an estimated wait time. When your drink is ready, simply check the number and pick it up at the counter.

Americano & Fresh Coconut Latte Review

My first order was the Ethiopia Gold Roast Americano.

Unlike many Americanos that can be intensely bold or have a strong roasted flavor, this one offered a refreshingly clean and bright profile. It felt lighter and more vibrant.

If you typically prefer a richer, nuttier Americano, you might find this a touch lighter. But for those who appreciate a crisp, vibrant coffee, it's a fantastic choice!

I was initially concerned the Fresh Coconut Latte might be overly sweet or too rich, but it was surprisingly smooth and wonderfully balanced.

The distinct sweet and nutty aroma of coconut hits you first, followed by a subtle, gentle coffee note. It wasn't overly sugary, which was a huge plus!
