Nadeulmok Yeoju Ssalbap, a fantastic Korean restaurant near Yeoju Premium Outlets,
is quite spacious,
making it perfectly suitable for large groups.

With ample parking available,
you won't have to worry about waiting for a spot,
so you can visit anytime at your leisure!
2. Interior Space

While not strictly private rooms, they are clearly separated spaces.
If you're with a group or make a reservation in advance,
you can enjoy your Yeoju Ssalbap Korean Table d'Hôte in a more private setting.

There was also a separate restroom inside.
3. Menu

There are a total of four signature dishes.
Depending on the dish, some require a minimum order of two servings or more.
My husband and I ordered two servings of the Braised Beltfish and Rice Set Meal.

I noticed an official certification plaque proudly displayed,
stating that this restaurant uses 'King's Table Yeoju Rice,'
renowned for its excellent quality and delicious taste.
There are countless Yeoju rice restaurants throughout Yeoju,
which made me anticipate that this would be an even tastier spot.
4. My Experience

As soon as we arrived,
we immediately ordered the Braised Beltfish with Rice Set Meal, and
they promptly brought out the basic banchan (side dishes).
Japchae, fried eggplant, muk muchim (seasoned acorn jelly), and salad.
We snacked on them lightly before the main meal,
and each one was delicious.

Then came the star of the show: the Braised Beltfish with Rice Set Meal,
served generously with ten different banchan (side dishes), doenjang-jjigae (soybean paste stew),
jeyuk-bokkeum (spicy stir-fried pork), and the braised beltfish itself.
What a spread!
First of all, with freshly cooked Yeoju rice as the base,
enjoying it with all ten side dishes was truly the icing on the cake.

The jeyuk-bokkeum at Nadeulmok Yeoju Ssalbap
had a slightly stronger sweet flavor than spicy.
The portion of meat was generous, and
there was absolutely no gamey or fishy smell.
Eating a piece of meat on top of that delicious Yeoju rice was pure heaven!
The seasoning had thoroughly seeped into the meat,
creating a perfect harmony with the sticky Yeoju rice.

What really stole the show, though, was the braised beltfish,
simmered perfectly in a rich sauce until the flesh was thick and tender.
It truly lived up to its name as a 'rice thief'!
There was so much perfectly cooked radish, too!
Mixing the tender beltfish with the well-braised radish
and delicious Yeoju rice, I found myself emptying a bowl of rice in no time.
There were several large, palm-sized pieces
of braised beltfish, such that my husband and I almost couldn't finish it all—
the portion was incredibly generous.
There was plenty of beltfish meat, and it came off the bone easily.

The doenjang-jjigae wasn't bland at all; it was flavorful.
Since the rice itself at Nadeulmok Yeoju Ssalbap is so tasty,
eating it just with the doenjang-jjigae before making sungnyung (scorched rice tea)
was already incredibly delicious.
Honestly, I didn't even realize doenjang-jjigae was part of the set, but
the one that came out had a wonderfully savory and deep broth.
It was absolutely perfect for a refreshing spoonful in between bites! ~~~
This was my first time trying Korean food at a '맛집' (must-try restaurant)
near the Yeoju Premium Outlets, and
I was so glad we chose Nadeulmok Yeoju Ssalbap. It felt like we picked a winner! =)
Every dish, from the main courses to the banchan, felt like a star in its own right,
leaving a deeply satisfying and delicious impression.
If you're visiting the Yeoju Premium Outlets and
looking for an excellent Korean restaurant, I highly recommend this place!
