Corn Soup 40 TWD (~$1)
Feeling like something extra to go with my Xiaolongbao, I ordered the corn soup. It wasn't anything extraordinary, but it was pleasantly savory and warm, a comforting addition. It reminded me a bit of a classic instant soup mix!

There's a basket of fresh ginger on each table, so you can help yourself to more if you need it.

Don't be shy – add plenty of ginger to your soy sauce!

The Xiaolongbao at Yang Shan Bao can be a little on the richer, oilier side, so pairing them with a generous amount of ginger in your soy sauce really helps to balance the flavors and offers a refreshing bite.
