Accommodation just a 2-minute walk from North Sydney Station

Hello, this is Baeji (ᴗ͈ˬᴗ͈)
Today, I'm sharing my honest review of View Sydney, the cleanest hotel I found among all the Sydney hotels!
North Sydney, home to Luna Park and Milsons Point
We added this area to our itinerary for a one-night stay, so we chose our accommodation here.
The room quality was fantastic – perfect even for honeymooners!
But most importantly, among all the hotels with Harbour Bridge views,
its location is simply unbeatable – highly recommended! 👍🏻

1. North Sydney Hotels
While South Sydney boasts iconic spots like the Opera House, Botanic Garden, Paddy's Market, and Darling Harbour,
North Sydney offers Luna Park, Milsons Point, and Taronga Zoo,
making it a must-visit area when you come to Sydney.

From the Wynyard area in the south, you can take the T1 line subway across the river,
and you're instantly connected to North Sydney – it's so close!
So, since we were traveling by subway,
I looked for accommodation that was close to the station, with a supermarket nearby, and within walking distance of Luna Park.

🌟 Accommodation Criteria
North Sydney Station accessibility + Near a supermarket + Walking distance to Luna Park
I also considered the Quest North Sydney Hotel nearby,
but I skipped it because it was more than a 10-minute walk from the station.

And as its name suggests, View Sydney is famous as a hotel with Harbour Bridge views, but Quest North Sydney doesn't offer any at all...
That Harbour Bridge view really creates a special vibe,
making me think, 'Ah, this must be why so many honeymooning couples choose this place!'

2. View Sydney
View Sydney has over 8,000 reviews on Agoda,
so I focused on reading the Korean reviews.
One thing was consistently clear: location satisfaction was the highest.
Many reviews raved about how the Harbour Bridge view rooms offered absolutely perfect views!

Prices for 9/25 (Fri) - 9/26 (Sat)
Platform | Price | Booking Link |
Agoda | ~$117 | |
Trip.com | ~$166 | |
Yeogiyaeottae | ~$131 |
Prices vary slightly depending on the dates, so it's always best to check all platforms,
but for September 25th, Agoda was the most affordable.
If your trip is still far off, now is often the cheapest time to book, so it's a good idea to reserve in advance with Agoda, which usually offers free cancellation!

If you want that incredible Harbour Bridge view, make sure to select
View: Harbour View when you book! Don't forget this! ദ്ദി・ᴗ・)

The room we stayed in was a Corner Deluxe Triple Room!
It wasn't a harbor view room, but the view was still absolutely stunning,
and it was spacious enough to open three suitcases with room to spare,
plus it had two generously sized beds.

The blackout blinds ensured we had no dazzling sunlight until morning,
and the small table was perfect for enjoying snacks!
Another great thing was that the power worked even without inserting the key card,
so we could charge our power banks while we were out,
and keep our fridge items perfectly cool 👍🏻
(Note: there aren't separate USB outlets, so you'll need an adapter for those.)

The bathroom at View Sydney Hotel featured a single bathtub with a glass partition,
which was great for preventing splashes.
Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash were all provided,
so we didn't need to pack our own, which was super convenient ◡̈
There were also hand/body wash and lotion,
and it felt much cleaner than bar soap, which I appreciated.
📌 Biggest Advantage of View Sydney
There's a Woolworths supermarket nearby,
making it perfect for grabbing dinner and fresh fruit to enjoy in your room!
Since labor costs are high in Australia, eating out can be quite pricey,
but fruit is often cheaper at supermarkets, so it's a great option to buy locally.

Overall, as expected from a 4-star hotel, the basic amenities were excellent,
and the meticulous cleaning really lived up to its reputation.
4. Nearby Attractions
📌 Luna Park: 13-minute walk

Luna Park is North Sydney's most famous attraction!
As I'm more of a sightseer, I only explored Luna Park, but
even without paying for rides, the atmosphere was absolutely fantastic.
Since admission is free, it's a great idea to take photos of the Ferris wheel
and stroll around with an ice cream – a perfect walking route.

📌 Milsons Park: 20-minute walk

Milsons Park is absolutely stunning when the Jacarandas are in full bloom,
and since it's right by the harbor, it's wonderful to enjoy coffee at a cafe with a harbor view ദ്ദി,,-`_´-)

A harbor-side cafe that simply brightens your mood just by looking at it!
