Universal Studios Singapore (USS).
However, you're probably wondering about wait times,
if the Express Pass is worth it,
and how much of your itinerary you should dedicate to the park.
Today, I'm sharing everything you need to know about
planning a trip to Universal Studios Singapore,
including ticket info, ride reviews, and insider tips!

Let's start with Universal Studios Singapore ticket options
and how to book them.
📌 First, here is a quick breakdown of the ticket tiers.

Unlike many other theme parks, Universal Studios Singapore
rarely fluctuates its prices based on the day of the week.
📍 The essential General Admission ticket hovers around ~$74,
and the Express Pass will run you about ~$93.
It's surprisingly affordable compared to Universal parks in the US or Japan!

Now, onto the fun part—my Universal Studios Singapore review!
I visited on a rainy Sunday
and decided to do the classic rope drop (arriving right at opening time).
We got to Sentosa Island about 10 minutes before the gates opened.
The crowds weren't too bad initially,
but they quickly swelled as the official opening time approached.

They started letting people in about 5 minutes early,
and we made a beeline straight for Transformers.
As one of the most popular attractions in the park,
getting there first meant zero wait time!
While it’s not a massive roller coaster,
the 3D immersion makes you feel like you've actually stepped into the movie.

Next up was Revenge of the Mummy, located right next door.
Again, we walked right on with no line.
This is a high-speed, indoor roller coaster,
and plunging into total darkness makes it incredibly thrilling!

We also hopped on the Minion ride,
and the scale of this attraction is surprisingly huge.
Because it processes so many people at once, the queue moved quickly.
It’s a bouncy, chaotic, and hilarious simulator ride
that we absolutely loved.
Just a quick warning—there are some sudden, jerky movements,
so be careful if you have a bad back!

We spent the rest of our time exploring the different themed zones
and knocking out the major rides. Roughly half a day
felt like the perfect amount of time to enjoy everything.
Because we utilized the rope drop strategy,
we rode all the heavy hitters without any waits,
meaning we totally survived without an Express Pass.

Even in the afternoon, wait times hovered around 30 to 40 minutes,
which was incredibly manageable.
However, keep in mind that Saturdays are typically much busier,
so an Express Pass might be worth the splurge if that's your only available day.

Universal Studios Singapore is undoubtedly
a highlight of any Singapore itinerary.
Some might say the park is on the smaller side,
but I actually loved how compact and easy to navigate it is.
It saves you from the exhausting miles of walking you'd experience at larger parks.
Plus, with unique zones like Ancient Egypt (Mummy) and Sci-Fi City (Transformers),
it has a distinct vibe that sets it apart from other Universal properties.

The biggest perk for me was the manageable queues.
Knowing you aren't forced to buy an Express Pass
is a huge win.
You can have an absolute blast with just a ~$77 ticket!
