After sharing our personal experience with the Disney Cruise kids clubs in Singapore previously, I realized that understanding all the different options can be a bit confusing, especially for families with varying age groups or those new to cruising.
So, this time, I'm diving deep into everything you need to know about Disney Cruise kids clubs!
Before our trip, I had so many questions. What are the age limits? Do kids need to speak English? Are there extra costs? Will my kids be separated from us? Information can be surprisingly hard to find, right?

We didn't have any children young enough for the nursery, so we only got a quick peek. Just remember, this is the only kids' club that comes with an additional fee!

What is Open House?
When you first look at the daily schedule, you might keep seeing the term 'Open House' and wonder what it means. Simply put, it's a special time when parents can legally enter and explore the kids' clubs and take photos with their children!
Normally, these are secure areas reserved exclusively for kids, so parents aren't allowed inside. But during Open House hours, age restrictions are lifted, and everyone can check out the spaces together. We took advantage of this to visit 'Edge' and 'Vibe,' where the older kids (like my friend's 4th grader) hang out. The spaces were so cool and stylish; I instantly understood why tweens and teens love them so much. My own child was incredibly proud to have seen the "big kids" areas! 😎
How to Use & Additional Costs?
* Here's a crucial point: Disney Cruise Line strictly categorizes kids for these clubs based on their actual age, not their school grade. While they were somewhat flexible for siblings around the 10-11 year old mark to join Edge, my friend's younger child, who was just shy of the age cutoff, couldn't get in despite our best efforts. Instead, we made sure to hit up the Open House sessions!
While the onboard kids clubs are a fantastic, free perk, stepping off the cruise ship into Singapore city often means facing the reality of childcare and the city's higher prices. Costs for hotels and various activities with kids before or after your cruise can really add up.
