USS is home to some legendary rides, and Revenge of the Mummy is easily one of the best. Once you enter the park, take a right, and you'll suddenly find yourself transported into an immersive Ancient Egyptian realm.

The theming here is top-tier, heavily inspired by the classic The Mummy film franchise. Massive statues of Anubis tower over the pathways, creating an eerie, cinematic atmosphere that's perfect for photos.

Right next to the ride entrance, you'll find a bank of automated lockers. Because Revenge of the Mummy is a high-speed roller coaster, you are strictly required to stow all loose items and bags before getting in line.

At the entrance, the queue splits into three lanes: Express, Single Rider, and Regular Standby. Choose the lane that fits your ticket type.

Since we did the classic "rope drop" (arriving right when the park opened), our wait time was a breezy 5 minutes. We walked straight through the Regular Standby line!

The absolute highlight? Midway through the ride, the coaster suddenly launches backward! The unexpected backward drop definitely caught us off guard.

While there aren't any massive, towering drops or inversions, the sheer speed combined with the total darkness makes this a genuinely scary and adrenaline-pumping ride. I wouldn't recommend it for young kids or anyone who gets easily spooked.

A quick word of warning: the sudden movements and backward sections can be tough if you're prone to motion sickness. I actually took some Dramamine before getting on, and I still felt a little dizzy afterward.
