TRS Coral Cancun Review: Honeymoon Check-In Guide
Step inside the adults-only paradise of TRS Coral in Playa Mujeres, Cancun. Here is our honest review of the check-in process, early arrival perks, and more!
Hey everyone, it's Bamkki!
I am so excited to finally start sharing our Cancun honeymoon series!
Today, we are kicking things off with our stay at the incredible TRS Coral Resort.
There is way too much awesome stuff to fit into one post, so I will be breaking this up into a few chapters.
Let's start right at the beginning: our check-in experience at TRS Coral, the ultimate adults-only, all-inclusive paradise in Mexico!
We made our way to TRS Coral in Playa Mujeres from our initial stay at the Aloft Cancun in the Hotel Zone.
We took an Uber, and the ride took about 20 to 30 minutes.
Once you leave the bustling Hotel Zone, the road gets quieter, with only massive resort gates popping up here and there. We kept checking Google Maps just to make sure we were heading the right way!

And we finally arrived at TRS Coral!
Aside from our flights, this luxury all-inclusive resort was the biggest investment of our entire honeymoon budget, and it was worth every penny.
The resort is situated right next to the sister Grand Palladium properties. If your driver seems a bit confused, just tell them to enter the main gate and head to the right side to find the TRS Coral entrance.
Looking back, our 4-night stay here was the absolute highlight of our honeymoon. If you are on the fence about booking Cancun for your honeymoon, just do it!

Since we arrived a bit earlier than the official check-in time, we left our heavy bags with the bell desk and received our luggage tags.

The lobby is absolutely stunning! Even though we were in the middle of a warm tropical paradise, the resort was beautifully decorated for Christmas. It was such a unique and festive way to spend the holidays in the sun 🎄

Even though our room wasn't ready yet, they let us complete the check-in paperwork at the front desk. As soon as we sat down, they handed us chilled, premium wet towels to refresh ourselves. High-end luxury hits different, doesn't it? 🤭

Next came the famous "magic bracelet"—the resort wristband that acts as your room key and all-access pass to every single amenity on the property.
They put these on us immediately, meaning we could start enjoying the all-inclusive facilities right away before our room was even open! We headed straight to the lobby bar to kick off our vacation with fresh margaritas and premium tequila. Absolute bliss... 🍸

Once 3:00 PM rolled around, our room was ready. The porter gathered luggage for a few arriving parties and delivered everything straight to our rooms.
Travel Tip: While tipping is customary in Mexico (usually $1–$2 per bag), we didn't have small bills on us at that exact moment. Make sure to keep some loose USD cash handy for the amazing staff!

The weather was absolutely flawless for our honeymoon!
Stay tuned as I open up our travel diaries and share more details of this dream vacation very soon!
