TRS Coral Cancun Honeymoon Review 2026: All-Inclusive Luxury
Discover TRS Coral Cancun, an adults-only all-inclusive resort perfect for a relaxing honeymoon. Experience swim-up rooms, gourmet dining, thrilling shows, and private beach access.

Hey there, fellow travelers!
The absolute highlight of our New York & Cancun honeymoon was undoubtedly the all-inclusive TRS Coral resort in Cancun, Mexico.
After a whirlwind trip exploring New York, my husband and I really wanted to find a place in Cancun that was **less crowded with tourists** and focused purely on **relaxation**.
That's how we landed on **TRS Coral**. I'm excited to share our review of this incredible all-inclusive Cancun resort!
TRS Coral Cancun Highlights |
1. Why We Chose TRS Coral for Our Cancun Honeymoon
Among the many fantastic all-inclusive resorts in Cancun, here's why TRS Coral stood out for us:
1. Away from the main Hotel Zone, meaning fewer crowds
2. Relatively new construction compared to many Hotel Zone resorts
3. Offers amazing swim-up rooms
4. Connected to the Grand Palladium complex, providing a vast array of dining options
5. The Chic Cabaret & Restaurant show was an absolute blast!
6. Direct access to a beautiful private beach
As I mentioned, after all the hustle and bustle of New York, we were looking for pure relaxation in Cancun. We essentially 'parked' ourselves in Playa Mujeres and didn't venture out much for activities. And honestly, it was perfect!
While TRS Coral was definitely an investment, my husband and I both agreed it was worth every penny and we'd love to return someday! 🥹💚
Let's dive into the room conditions and a brief overview of the resort.
2. TRS Coral Junior Swim-Up Room Experience
Our chosen room was the **TRS Coral Junior Swim-Up Room**.
We decided to forgo a true ocean view since, unless you pay top dollar, most ocean views are partial. What truly captivated us was the idea of **direct access to the pool right from our room** – it looked absolutely incredible, and it was! 😘

Upon entering, you'll find the vanity, bathtub, shower, and toilet to the right. The wall on the left in the picture separates this area from the main bedroom.

Here's the bedroom with a comfortable bed, sofa, and TV. Beyond the curtains, you can see the **direct connection to the pool**... *0*

The right picture was taken early in the morning, so it's a bit dark, but you can see the stairs leading directly into the pool from our terrace deck!
Our room was part of a section of swim-up rooms that shared a common pool. So, it wasn't a completely private pool exclusively for our room, but it still felt wonderfully secluded.
Also, this specific swim-up pool didn't connect to the main resort pool. Those swim-up rooms probably came with a much higher price tag, haha!
The water in our swim-up pool was a bit chilly, and we found the main pool to be similar, just a heads-up! 😂
3. All-Inclusive Dining, Drinks & Entertainment at TRS Coral
This is one of the biggest perks of an all-inclusive resort in Cancun: all the food and drinks within the resort are included... for free!

After checking in, before our room was ready, we immediately headed to the lobby bar to enjoy some margaritas and tequila. Cheers! 🥳

We were already a bit tipsy from our daytime drinks when we got to our room, only to find complimentary wine and snacks waiting for us! The resort also gifted us **two bottles of mid-range tequila** – score! 🤩
Beyond this, all restaurants and pool-side snack bars are included! While some premium wines at restaurants required an extra charge, standard beers and basic cocktails were **free** with our meals.

The resort is quite expansive, so while the main pools and restaurants could get busy, other areas remained tranquil and uncrowded, which we loved.
It's so large that we often used golf carts and even boats to get around the property! ^_^

I snapped these photos in the morning when no one else was around!
This is the main pool at TRS Coral, and while it's an adults-only resort, we wondered if it would really make a difference. It absolutely did – the atmosphere was incredibly pleasant and serene.
No kids running around meant pure tranquility. I felt totally comfortable enjoying drinks and just having fun without any worries!

The pool area hosted various activities daily at scheduled times.
From aqua pole dancing and paddleboard yoga & Pilates to aqua spinning and aerobics – there was always something fun happening. My husband and I joined an aerobics session, dancing under the clear blue sky with a slight buzz, and it was one of the happiest moments of our trip! 💃🕺

They even offer a tequila tasting class! I was so eager that I arrived 20 minutes early to secure a spot. That's me!

Lastly, something beyond just an activity – the spectacular **Chic Cabaret & Restaurant show**! This is an optional, paid experience.
Weekend shows incur a higher surcharge, and initially, I was hesitant, but if I ever return to TRS Coral, **the Chic Cabaret is an absolute must-see again!** It was such a high-quality performance, I almost wondered if we were truly allowed to witness such a magnificent show.

Finally, the resort connects directly to the ocean! It boasts a private beach with comfortable beach chairs and a bar, so you can enjoy the beautiful Caribbean Sea.
We even caught the first sunrise of the new year from our private beach! 🌅
Honestly, there's so much more to say that I could probably write 15 detailed posts about TRS Coral! Please bear with me as I share more in the future. 😉
4. Cancun Honeymoon Costs: All-Inclusive Hotel Expense
So, how much did TRS Coral cost? Keep in mind that our stay from December 31st to January 4th (New Year's Eve and New Year's Day) was about 1.6 to 2 times more expensive than off-peak times!
We paid approximately **~$3,073** for 4 nights. 😂
Looking at prices around September, a typical night seemed to be around **~$448**.
We also got quotes for package deals, but after applying various discounts from booking flights on Trip.com, our rate of approximately **~$768** per night was the best we could find. *^*
Since the cost is significant, it's definitely best to book in advance, especially for a honeymoon! Check availability for your honeymoon dates here: 👇
