Highly Recommended Shanghai Hotel

We stayed during the peak summer season in late July. Getting a modern hotel right in the heart of the city center for around ~$90 a night is an incredible deal!

THE TREASURY HOTEL
Since we arrived late at night, I did not get a chance to take a clean photo of the exterior, so I am using an official hotel photo here!
Here is the lobby of the Treasury Hotel! I only captured a partial view, but there is a much larger, comfortable seating area just to the right of this frame.
This cute little robot lives in the lobby!
Whenever we requested extra towels or amenities, this robot would deliver them straight to our room. Super convenient! 👍🏻
Shanghai Treasury Hotel - Treasure Queen Room

As a relatively new property, the room felt incredibly clean, fresh, and modern.
The room came with a queen-sized bed, bedside tables, a small coffee table, a cozy sofa, and a wall-mounted TV. While it was not massive, it was more than spacious enough for two people to relax comfortably.
Keep in mind that the check-in time at Treasury Hotel is 2:00 PM, and check-out is at 12:00 PM!
The bathroom featured a spacious vanity area and a separate walk-in shower. They also provided a full set of quality toiletries, including toothbrushes, toothpaste, body wash, shampoo, and conditioner.

I forgot to snap photos of the buffet, so here is another official image of the dining area.
The nightly rate of ~$90 included breakfast. While the selection was not massive, it was perfect for a light, quick meal before starting the day.

This is the breakfast restaurant, which offers both open tables and private dining rooms. To be honest, we usually woke up late and rushed down right before breakfast ended, so we missed seeing the buffet fully stocked.
We mainly stuck to the basics: bread, sausages, eggs, and hot dim sum. It hit the spot! 🥟
I managed to get a photo of the exterior during the daytime. It is a sleek, modern building that looks fantastic. Highly recommend! 🩶
The area surrounding the hotel is packed with food options!
Many places stay open late into the night. Popular milk tea spots like Chagee are just a short walk away, which was awesome for late-night cravings.
There is also a Luckin Coffee right next door to the Treasury Hotel, making it incredibly easy to grab a quick caffeine fix before starting your day!
We also found a fantastic local fruit shop nearby with an amazing selection of fresh, colorful fruits!
If you purchase fruit, they will slice it up nicely on the spot so you can eat it right away. (I can't quite recall if they did it for free or charged a tiny fee, but it was incredibly convenient either way!)

We easily walked to major shopping spots like Nike, Lego, Pop Mart, and Miniso Land, as well as highly rated restaurants like Haidilao and local sukiyaki joints. Having Nanjing Road and People's Square right at your doorstep makes this hotel the ultimate base for exploring Shanghai!
