Best #1: Seven Dwarfs Mine Train

TRON is so famous that I didn't think much of the Seven Dwarfs Mine Train at first.
But since we had some time to kill before the fireworks, we decided to give it a go...
And it turned out to be the absolute best ride in all of Shanghai Disneyland!

I'm really not a fan of scary roller coasters,
so hearing the screams while waiting in line made me super nervous.
But seeing so many kids jump on, I mustered up my courage...
...only to end up in the very front row! 🤣

I was honestly terrified being right at the front,
but once it started, it wasn't scary at all—just pure fun!
I easily could have ridden it 5 times in a row...
but the queue was too long, so I was happy with just the once, haha.

Plus, while waiting in line, you can capture
some gorgeous shots with the Disney Castle in the background! ✨️
Best #2: TRON Lightcycle Power Run

If you ask anyone what to ride at Shanghai Disneyland,
I bet 8 out of 10 people will say "TRON!"
If you're a thrill-seeker,
it's legendary as a must-ride attraction! 🎬
For someone like me who hates scary rides—I only ride Atlantis (at Lotte World) when
my friends literally drag me on, and even then, I keep my eyes closed the entire time—
I was so worried TRON would be too intense.
I was seriously debating escaping while standing in line!
Especially since TRON clocks in at around 95 km/h,
while Atlantis (Lotte World) is about 72 km/h.
Hearing that TRON was even faster made me overthink it like crazy.
I'd even seen YouTube Shorts of people
whose legs were shaking because they were so terrified...
But then I thought, "When will I ever be back at Shanghai Disneyland?"
And factoring in the ticket price of over ~$64,
I chose to believe the occasional review saying it's not that scary and took the plunge! ✨️

The interior has this cool, futuristic city vibe
that kept us thoroughly entertained while queueing.

After the ride, you can check out the action shots taken during your launch.

On the way out, the gift shop and various extra exhibits
offered plenty of cool things to see and enjoy.
If you go in with low expectations, it's pretty fun,
but if you're expecting mind-blowing thrills... you might find it a bit underwhelming.
First of all, it wasn't scary at all for me...
Honestly, the most terrifying moment was using the phone storage slot
on the TRON lightcycle itself.
But because of their size, a Galaxy Fold 7 or an iPhone 17 Pro Max
simply won't fit inside...
Yeah, trying to squeeze my phone in was the scariest part of the whole ride.
Note: depending on how you're secured, your calves might get a bit pinched and hurt,
or they might feel weirdly loose and free. Just a heads up!
Conclusion: Seriously, who said this ride was scary?
Atlantis is literally 1,000 times scarier.
If you can handle the Comet Express, you can easily handle this!
If you're asking, "Is TRON really worth the wait?" Well, first of all,
it's only in Shanghai and Orlando, so it's definitely worth experiencing!
Honestly, right after riding, I was so disappointed that I almost put it on my "skip" list,
but after trying several other rides, TRON actually ranks as one of the more thrilling ones, so I do recommend it!
Best.3 Dumbo

Why Dumbo all of a sudden, you ask?
First of all, it was the very first ride we got on at Shanghai Disneyland, so the excitement was real!
Plus, the breeze felt so cool and refreshing while riding!
(Yep, I'm the type of person who loves simple, breezy rides more than flashy screen effects!)
I'm not quite sure why they handed us these boarding passes,
but we just gave them back when we boarded.
Either way, even though we waited 50 minutes for it,
it still stands as one of my favorite memories.
Worth a try if you have extra time...
Pirates of the Caribbean

A YouTuber highly praised Pirates of the Caribbean,
saying it's even cooler than the one at Tokyo Disneyland...
So I had massive expectations...
My verdict? Well... the visual effects (?) are indeed very pretty...
Zootopia: Hot Pursuit

Along with TRON, this is one of the absolute must-ride attractions when you visit Shanghai Disneyland, right?
So my expectations were sky-high.
We literally waited 3 hours for it, but if I had bought Premier Access (DPA) for this, I probably would have felt like I wasted my money...
Also, the line-cutting here is pretty wild...
The people in front of and next to you change in real-time,
so you really have to stay alert! ^^
My review of the ride? The visual screens are incredibly pretty... Part 2.
I really wanted to try this one... haha
Explorer Canoes
Explorer Canoes

From a distance, it was hard to tell if people were enjoying a ride...
or just getting an intense arm workout... It looked a bit questionable,
so we headed to Zootopia instead.
But honestly, this might have been more fun than Zootopia!
Alice in Wonderland Maze

Since it's just a maze, I skipped it thinking "is it really worth it?",
but seeing it lit up at night, it was absolutely gorgeous...
I thought about wandering in for the night views,
but my battery was completely drained, and choosing dinner felt like the right call...
If I ever find myself back at Shanghai Disneyland
again in the future, I'll definitely check it out then! haha
