Planning a Toronto trip? Explore the Marriott City Centre, a top downtown hotel offering prime access to attractions like the CN Tower and excellent family amenities.

If you're planning a trip to Toronto, Canada,
and looking for hotels in downtown Toronto,
perhaps near attractions like the CN Tower, Ripley's Aquarium, or Toronto Island,
then you might end up, like I did,
staying at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel.
That's where I ended up staying!

It's an incredibly convenient location for exploring Toronto, Canada!
The Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel is just a
10 to 15-minute walk from Union Station subway.
Plus, there's a direct bridge connection from Union Station,
making your walk to the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel super easy.
It's definitely a big plus!

When you arrive at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel's lobby on the first floor,
you'll find a comfortable space to relax and chat.
During my visit, the 2026 World Cup games were underway,
so there were plenty of tourists, and many were watching on TV,
creating a fantastic World Cup atmosphere!

After getting my room key for our Toronto accommodation,
I headed to the assigned room. Since I booked a room with breakfast included,
they told me all I'd need to do for breakfast is just say my room number.

For my stay at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel, I booked a
twin room.
Even though it's a hotel in downtown Toronto, the room was surprisingly
spacious, making it perfect for families.
The room was super clean, and the bedding was also
immaculate – definitely worth every penny!

In front of the bed, there's a desk and a refrigerator.
It's well-equipped with a desk lamp and a chair, perfect for some light laptop work.
And right next to the room's entrance,
there's a spot to hang your coats.
Inside the fridge, you'll find two bottles of water.

The bathroom in the Marriott City Centre Hotel room is very spacious.
You can see how roomy it is just from the pictures.
The bath area even has a shower curtain.
Only basic amenities are provided.

What I loved most was that it had a full bathroom, and the restroom itself was quite spacious,
which gave me a completely different vibe compared to Europe.
Even though I've stayed in many different hotels in Europe,
the bathrooms there were usually on the smaller side.

By the bathtub, there were amenities like shampoo, conditioner, and body wash,
so I figured I wouldn't need to pack any of those separately when preparing for my Toronto adventure.

Toronto Marriott City Centre Breakfast

The breakfast at the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel
is conveniently located on the first floor, connected to the lobby.
This particular space on the first floor serves as the breakfast area in the morning,
but it seemed to operate as a bar in the evenings.

Even though it was still early morning, I noticed many international guests—not just Koreans—
were already there, diving into their breakfast!
I always thought foreign travelers tended to wake up a bit later.
Hats off to those early birds, even out-doing the Koreans!!

This is the ballpark view you can enjoy from the breakfast area.
It's the home stadium of the Toronto Blue Jays, the team where former Hanhwa player, Ryu Hyun-jin, once pitched.
The chance to enjoy your meal with a view of the Blue Jays' home ballpark
was a huge draw, and honestly, it was one of the big reasons
I picked the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel.

Now, the Toronto Marriott City Centre's breakfast spread isn't massive,
but they've curated a selection that pretty much everyone will love, with dishes prepared to appeal to all tastes.

They had everything from Kellogg's cereals to a whole host of other options,
including sausages, fluffy scrambled eggs, and crispy bacon.
I always find a simple breakfast hits the spot best.
It was a refreshing change from European breakfasts, and I genuinely enjoyed the flavors!

After my first plate of breakfast in Toronto,
I went back for a second round of yogurt and a variety of fruits.
And wow, the fruit was incredibly sweet and absolutely divine!
I always make sure to load up on fruit at breakfast whenever I'm traveling internationally,
and this was genuinely sweet and incredibly tasty – a true highlight!

I really feel like choosing the Toronto Marriott City Centre Hotel as my home base
for this Toronto adventure was one of the best decisions I made!
With major attractions like the CN Tower and Ripley's Aquarium close by,
and public transportation also not far away,
It really feels like this is the only place you'll want to stay!
