When you're exploring Eastern Canada, particularly Toronto, Niagara Falls is
definitely one of those must-visit spots for many!
During my trip to Toronto, Canada, I took a Niagara Falls day trip
and dedicated a whole day to this amazing tour.
Many travelers also visit Niagara from New York, not just Canada,
but I have to say, the views from the Canadian side are absolutely stunning!

Niagara Falls tours departing from Canada typically
start by bus, and it only takes about three hours to reach the Niagara region,
so you'll be there in no time!
Pickup spots are conveniently gathered in downtown Toronto,
so you can easily head to the one nearest you.

Typically, if you embark on your journey from Toronto, Canada,
it's much closer than the New York route, and you can comfortably experience everything within a single day.
For my Niagara Falls cruise experience, a perfect day trip from Toronto, Canada,
I made my reservation through a tour package.

When I booked my Niagara Falls tour, I opted for a package that already included the cruise fare,
so as we headed to board the cruise,
our guide handed each of us a ticket right at the entrance.

The walk down to board the Niagara Falls cruise on the Canadian side;
just seeing the sign made me incredibly excited and filled with joy!
To finally be here, at a place I'd only ever seen on TV or the internet,
and to actually be boarding a Niagara Falls cruise,
it felt truly surreal!

Typically, you'd descend from the ticket booth area by elevator,
and I suspect the method shown in the photo above might be an older way to get down.
However, when I visited, this particular transport wasn't in operation,
leaving me with a slight sense of wistfulness.

During my Canadian adventure, the entrance to the Niagara Falls cruise was
actually quite spacious, and I noticed many people exiting the cruise were
absolutely drenched from head to toe!
It meant the wind was really strong that day, causing a tremendous amount of spray.
If you're going to get soaked even wearing a raincoat, you truly have to commit to the experience!

While traveling through Canada, it seemed like professional photographers were always ready to snap your picture everywhere you went.
They wouldn't pressure you to buy it right away; instead, they'd hand you a receipt
and you could collect your photos at the designated pickup counter on your way out.
It seems Canada really capitalizes on photography at all its major attractions,
wouldn't you say they're quite savvy about it?
While it wasn't strictly mandatory, I ended up getting my picture taken anyway!

Both at the entrance and exit queues for the Niagara Falls cruise,
you'll find convenient spots offering simple drinks and snacks.

However, since the prices here are a bit on the expensive side, it seems many people
don't dine in!
Actually, it might be better to head out and find a restaurant near Niagara Falls instead.

Once you scan your admission ticket's QR code, they hand you a raincoat.
On my visit, they were giving out bright red ones!
I'd seen people wearing raincoats in videos of Niagara Falls,
but I never imagined I'd be wearing one myself!

The path to the Niagara Falls cruise was filled with such anticipation and excitement,
I absolutely loved it!
So many tourists, all donned in the same raincoats, walked along,
and everyone looked absolutely thrilled!

The Niagara Falls cruise, an essential part of any Eastern Canada trip,
operates for about 20 minutes after you board.
People usually rush to grab the front spots on the second deck, right at the bow,
so those seats fill up incredibly fast. It's often because everyone wants to experience the sheer force of the falls head-on!

As the Niagara cruise approaches the falls, an incredible amount of water sprays into the air with the wind – it's an absolutely breathtaking spectacle!
Niagara Falls is truly something you have to see in person to fully appreciate;
it's far more impactful than any photograph could capture.

If you're planning an Eastern Canada trip, Niagara Falls, a fantastic destination near Toronto,
is an absolute must-see. And if the cruise is offered as an optional tour,
I highly recommend you include it – you won't regret it!!
