Its spacious, multi-story design with high ceilings and abundant seating ensures it never feels overly crowded, even with many visitors. It's perfect for large groups too!

On the first floor of Tongyeong Arse, you'll find seats offering picturesque views of the ocean and islands, framed by beautiful hydrangeas. Just be aware that this spot is a popular photo zone, so it might get busy with people capturing their perfect shot.

Ascend the stairs to the upper level, and you'll discover prime spots with panoramic ocean views from the front windows and lush forest scenes from the left.

A pro tip: the window seats directly above the stairs can get quite sunny, so the second row offers the ideal comfortable 'sweet spot'!

2. Tongyeong Bakery Cafe: Arse Menu Recommendations

For drinks, I ordered the 'Sangkkom Hai' and a Deep Chocolate Latte. The Sangkkom Hai, with its homemade peach syrup and plum-apricot sorbet, was wonderfully refreshing and sweet. The Deep Chocolate Latte was exactly what you'd expect – a classic, comforting chocolate treat.

As a dedicated bakery cafe, Arse boasts an impressive variety of pastries. The 'Chodang Corn Soboro Bread' stood out with its unique chewy texture, somewhere between bread and glutinous rice cake, offering a delightful savory-sweet corn flavor.

I filled up quicker than expected, so I decided to get the Milk Cream Salt Bread and Castella Cream Bread to go. They even have a well-equipped self-packaging station, which was super convenient!

3. Tongyeong Arse's Signature Hydrangea Garden

After enjoying our treats, we stepped out to explore Tongyeong Arse's signature hydrangea garden.

Even with the warm weather, the hydrangeas were so stunning that I couldn't just walk past them. I sent photos to my friends, and they thought I was in some exotic international garden!

Perhaps it's the universal appeal of hydrangeas, but the garden attracted visitors of all ages – from kids to seniors. It's truly a place everyone can enjoy, whether you're with family, friends, or a special someone.

With evening lights installed, I can only imagine how magical it looks at night! Plus, it's pet-friendly, so feel free to bring your furry companions along.
