It's only about a 1 hour and 45-minute flight from Incheon,

making it easy and stress-free to visit,

and unlike familiar Japanese destinations such as Tokyo or Osaka,

it offers expansive natural landscapes and traditional Japanese scenery

where you can relax and truly enjoy the moment.

Most importantly, it's not yet a destination heavily visited by Korean travelers,

so I loved that I could experience Japan's unique tranquil atmosphere

That's why I decided on Tokushima

in Shikoku, Japan, for this trip.

Tokushima is a prefecture located in eastern Shikoku, Japan,

and centered around Tokushima City, it's a small Japanese travel destination

If you're planning a trip to the small Japanese city of Tokushima,

rather than setting your travel dates first, I recommend

planning your itinerary around Eastar Jet's flight days.

The direct flight to Tokushima isn't a daily route;

it typically operates three times a week: on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays.

Incheon-Tokushima Direct Route: Flight time approximately 1 hour 45 minutes

We departed promptly at 13:45 without any significant delays,

and actually arrived 10 minutes earlier than the scheduled 15:30 arrival time at Tokushima Airport,

making the total flight time about 1 hour and 30 minutes!

Since the flight wasn't long, I didn't feel exhausted like on a long-haul journey,

and the fact that it's a direct flight from Incheon

made it a perfect, hassle-free start to exploring a charming small city in Japan.

Eastar Jet has a 3-3 seating arrangement,

which is similar to most medium-sized passenger aircraft.

With three seats on each side of the aisle,

it wasn't much different from the short-haul international flights I usually take.

For routes with short flight times like Incheon-Tokushima,

it's a perfectly comfortable seating configuration.

As someone who is 163cm tall, I used an economy class seat,

and the legroom was ample, so I had a comfortable flight.

Since it's a relatively short flight of about 1 hour and 45 minutes,

neither in-flight meals nor bottled water are provided.

Please keep this in mind when you fly!

Tokushima Airport isn't very large,

so it's not crowded, and the flow for passengers is quite straightforward.

The airport signs are also very clear,

and what's even better, there are Korean interpreters available, so during the immigration process,

I didn't have to worry much about language barriers.

If you follow the Immigration and Arrival signs,

the process goes from immigration screening to baggage claim.

Because the airport is small, the distances you need to walk are not far,

so even first-time visitors to Tokushima Airport

can complete the entry procedures with ease.
