during my trip to the beautiful coastal city of Zadar,
Croatia. It was such an amazing find
that I just have to recommend it to you all!

Zadar is situated right between Split and Plitvice Lakes,
making it a popular stopover town.
However, it deserves so much more than just a quick pass-through!
Due to Croatia's unique geography,
there aren't actually many coastlines facing directly west for the sunset,
which makes Zadar world-famous for its breathtaking sunset views.
Must-visit spots in Zadar's Old Town include:
✔️ Church of St. Donatus
✔️ Cathedral of St. Anastasia
✔️ Zadar Bell Tower
When golden hour strikes, make your way to the famous Sea Organ.
Listening to the mesmerizing melodies played by the waves
while watching the sun dip below the horizon is the ultimate way to end your day.

It is located just a quick 10-minute walk from Zadar's Old Town,
so getting back and forth was incredibly easy.

Easy Parking
Since it's a residential apartment Airbnb, the parking area was very spacious,
and having an assigned parking spot made it extremely convenient.
⚠️ Things to Keep in Mind
You need the gate key to enter and exit.
When you first arrive, you'll need to temporarily pull up near the entrance,
run up to the room to grab the key,
and on checkout, drive your car out first before returning the key back to the room.
But since the parking lot isn't busy with heavy traffic,
it wasn't stressful at all.
The Window View
Since the sun in Croatia can get incredibly intense,
the windows are fitted with heavy-duty blackout blinds.
I peeked through the blinds,
and noticed how flawlessly clean and sparkling the windows were.
It offered a nice, open view of the street.
The Interior
Spacious, Airy, and Ice-Cold AC
The room was much larger than expected,
spotlessly clean, and the AC worked beautifully—
which was an absolute lifesaver.
There was also a dining table,
making it perfect for enjoying a quick bite with fresh finds from the local market.
The bed and linens were super neat and clean.
There was plenty of room to lay out our suitcases without feeling cramped at all!
Kitchen
We didn't end up cooking here,
but the kitchen amenities and setup were surprisingly good.
It looked like it would be perfectly convenient for whipping up quick, simple meals.
Plates and kitchenware in various sizes
Pots and pans
There was a nice variety of plates of different shapes and sizes,
handy mixing bowls,
and they even had salt ready to use.
A generously sized refrigerator
We bought loads of fresh fruit from the local market during our walks,
so having such a large fridge made it so easy to keep everything fresh!
Bathroom
Washing Machine & Detergent Provided
An absolute summer travel essential: a washing machine!
Since it was only the third day of our trip, I didn't think we'd have much use for it,
but traveling in the summer means laundry piles up so quickly.
Having a washing machine right there
was incredibly convenient and useful.
There was a separate shower stall, and the bathroom was spacious and clean.
A hair dryer and basic toiletries
were also fully provided.

where we stayed.
