If there's one spot in Tamsui I can't stop raving about, it's this hidden gem. I first stumbled upon this incredible xiaolongbao shop back in 2016, and ever since, it's become a mandatory stop every time I visit Tamsui. On my latest trip, I was thrilled to find they're still going strong!

This place has clearly thrived; they've even expanded next door! In the past, it was strictly takeout, but now there's a cozy dining area right next to the kitchen where you can enjoy your meal fresh.
Inside the Shop
While not huge, the new dining area is a game-changer, especially with the air conditioning! It was fantastic to enjoy my hot xiaolongbao in cool comfort. Eating inside after years of takeout definitely felt like a new, exciting experience.
Once you're seated, they'll call your number when your order is ready. And of course, no xiaolongbao is complete without ginger! They have a self-service station with fresh ginger slices, so you can grab as much as you like.
Remember to return your empty paper boxes to the same counter where you picked up your food.
Pork Xiaolongbao 80 TWD (~$2)
The prices here are just unbeatable, seriously! You get 8 pieces, and the ritual is simple: gently puncture a xiaolongbao on your spoon, letting the rich broth spill out, then add some ginger and soy sauce. It's pure bliss! If you're looking for an authentic, budget-friendly local xiaolongbao experience in Tamsui, I wholeheartedly recommend a visit to Le Tang Bao!
