Orange Hotel Location and Advantages
Next, I'll briefly introduce the location advantages of Orange Hotel.

On the right side of the map above is Taipei Main Station,
a crucial transportation hub in Taiwan where the bus terminal, MRT station, and train station are all concentrated.
To the left, you'll find Ximending,
packed with delicious restaurants and souvenir shops.
Just a 5-minute walk south, there's also a large Carrefour supermarket that operates 24/7.
Thanks to this, Orange Hotel is truly in an optimal location for shopping, getting around, and embarking on culinary adventures.
Because of these location advantages,
I found it incredibly convenient for my travels.
Orange Hotel Stay Review
Next, I'll share my experience staying in a double room at Orange Hotel.
Hotel Lobby and Check-in Process

In the hotel lobby, luggage entrusted by guests before/after check-in was stored.
While not expansive, the lobby had a clean interior with a small bench or two.

Also, there was a water dispenser across from the counter, so there was no need to buy bottled water separately.

Check-in is simple; just present your passport. Uniquely, they use a QR code-based room key instead of a traditional physical key.
Additionally, they do not provide single-use amenities.
Therefore, you'll need to bring your own toothbrush, toothpaste, razor, and other personal items from home.
(Most hotels in Taiwan operate similarly.)

As I was wrapping up check-in, they gave me all the details about breakfast.
You could grab a light breakfast at Louisa Coffee or Mos Burger,
both conveniently located near the hotel.
Interestingly, some cafes even offer breakfast options beyond the usual morning hours, so keep that in mind if you're craving a late morning bite!
The Lounge on B1

Head down to the B1 level, and you'll discover the lounge.
The lounge was thoughtfully designed with both large communal tables and cozy spots for 1-2 people,
making it perfect for getting some work done or simply enjoying a meal you brought in from outside.

What's more, the lounge offers a wonderful selection of snacks and beverages,
completely free of charge, to enjoy throughout the day!

From coffee and tea to snacks, yogurt, and fresh fruit,
there was such a diverse array of treats,
making it absolutely perfect for a quick pick-me-up or a delightful light snack.
This really felt like a major perk of staying at the hotel!
My Experience in a Double Room

I opted for a double room and was delighted to be assigned a high-floor room on the 11th level!

The room itself had a lovely, clean atmosphere with warm wood tones,
featuring a cozy small table and chair, and, of course, a comfortable bed.
While the bed wasn't huge, it was perfectly comfortable and spacious enough for two people.
Initially, the room didn't seem to have a lot of extra space, but here's a smart tip:
there's clever storage under the bed, perfect for stashing your luggage!
This little detail made a big difference, helping us keep the main area surprisingly clutter-free.

The view from my bedside wasn't bad at all!
My room offered a charming city view, including the vibrant rooftops of Ximending Red House – quite a sight to behold!
(And let me tell you, the night view was surprisingly beautiful too!)

At the foot of the bed, you'll find a television mounted on the wall,
and conveniently tucked underneath are slippers and a safe – all set for your comfort and security!

On the desk side, appliances like a refrigerator, hairdryer,
and coffee pot were thoughtfully provided.
A unique feature was the large water bottle available for filling,
thanks to the water dispenser located on the first floor.

A washbasin was installed at the room entrance,
with the toilet and shower room situated right next to it.
While it was a slightly unconventional layout,
having the washbasin separated meant that one person could
brush their teeth or wash their face while the other was showering,
making morning preparations much more efficient.

Two large and two small towels were provided, and shower amenities
only included body wash and shampoo. If you absolutely need conditioner,
I recommend bringing sample sizes from home.
Highly Recommended If You're Looking for a Clean Hotel with a Great Location!

Today, I've had the pleasure of introducing Orange Hotel,
a fantastic spot that can make your Taipei adventure even more comfortable.
The location and hotel quality are truly excellent, and since the
accommodation fee is incredibly affordable, around ~$75,
I highly recommend it for couples and traveling duos.
