Taipei Garden Hotel Review 2026: Spacious Family Rooms

As I prepared for a family trip to Taipei, I noticed that most hotel rooms seemed quite cramped.

On top of that, many room types featured carpeting, which didn't seem ideal for traveling with a child and keeping things comfortable and clean.

That's why I searched high and low for a hotel with wide, non-carpeted rooms, and I found the perfect spot!

Considering our 3-night, 4-day itinerary, the Taipei Garden Hotel truly offered a comfortable stay for my child and me.

The Taipei Garden Hotel boasts excellent accessibility to popular attractions like Ximending and Longshan Temple.

2. Hotel Services / Room Condition

When searching for family-friendly hotels in Taipei with spacious and comfortable rooms, Taipei Garden Hotel consistently appeared with glowing reviews.

That's why I chose to spend our 3-night, 4-day Taipei trip at the Taipei Garden Hotel.

The hotel interior was generally very clean, with hardly any signs of age, ensuring a pleasant and comfortable stay.

During this Taipei trip, it rained quite a bit, so we spent a good amount of time at the hotel.

I was very satisfied with the spacious room and the convenience of having Carrefour and many restaurants nearby, which made our trip much easier.

The hotel also offers a delightful dessert service!

Once a day, guests can fill a bag with as many candies, biscuits, and chocolates as they desire.

My child absolutely loved this time, and it was wonderful to see guests of all ages, from kids to adults, enjoy choosing their favorite treats, bringing out their inner child!

They also operate a free shuttle bus!

The shuttle runs 6 times a day, every 2 hours, covering the route: Hotel – Longshan Temple – Ximen Station – Hotel.

This makes sightseeing incredibly convenient and stress-free!

The rooms are truly spacious!

We requested a baby crib for our child, and even with the already large beds and generous room size, the crib fit perfectly without hindering movement, which was a huge plus!

Having a Jacuzzi was fantastic for bathing our child.

With a little water scoop provided, our child had a blast playing in the water, creating many happy memories!

3. Pricing

This time, I compared prices for the Taipei Garden Hotel on Agoda and Trip.com, ensuring that all quotes included free cancellation.

After spending 3 nights, the Taipei Garden Hotel truly became our cozy home away from home, and I was incredibly impressed.
