The Ultimate Pork Galbi Spot—Perfect for a Family Dinner
On Constitution Day (07/17/2026), after spending a fun day at the Nowon water park and relaxing at a local bathhouse, we headed over to Taeneung Maekgalbi in Byeollae.
Our group consisted of 3 adults and 2 kids, and we all agreed that we finally found a truly satisfying pork rib restaurant!
The pork galbi here is highly recommended. It was so good that I immediately thought about bringing my parents here next time. Here is my honest review!

It is located slightly deep inside Byeollae, which makes it the perfect destination for a scenic drive.
As we drove over from the Taereung area, the roads were surrounded by lush, beautiful trees. The scenery was so peaceful and refreshing.
I kept thinking, 'My parents would absolutely love this drive.' The beautiful route set a wonderful mood even before we arrived!

The interior is incredibly spacious with generous spacing between tables, making it an excellent choice for family gatherings or company dinners.
It is very kid-friendly, and the massive parking lot takes away any parking stress!

This was absolutely phenomenal. The meat was incredibly tender, and the marinade was perfectly balanced—not overly sweet, making it easy to keep eating without getting tired of the flavor. Combined with the rich charcoal smoky aroma, one bite was all it took to convince me that I will definitely be coming back here. Easily the best dish of the day!
🍜 Spicy Cold Noodles / Bibim Naengmyeon (★★★☆☆)
The portion size was huge! It was quite spicy, but honestly, the flavor was just average for me. It paired decently with the grilled pork, but I probably wouldn't order it again on my next visit.

Another very generous portion. The broth was icy and refreshing, but the noodles and overall flavor profile were fairly standard. It's not a dish you'd visit the restaurant specifically for, but it serves as a decent palate cleanser alongside the rich BBQ.

I was surprisingly impressed by this! Taking a spoonful of this savory, rich stew with a bite of rice right after the charcoal-grilled meat was the absolute perfect way to wrap up the meal. We actually ended up ordering another bowl of rice because of how good this stew was!
