Amenities & Facilities

Parking

There are several parking lots scattered around,

so you can simply pull into any lot with open spaces.

And the best part? Parking was completely free.

Wheelchair & Stroller Rentals

The Taean Tulip Festival offers free stroller and wheelchair rentals!

You don't even need to leave an ID card. Just write down your name to rent one,

and make sure they check off your return when you bring it back.

Restrooms

As we walked around enjoying the festival, we noticed quite a few restrooms

spread out across the venue, making the whole experience very comfortable.

Highlights & Things to See

There is a general map of the park, but

there are also plenty of helpful signposts like the one in the photo as you walk around.

If there's a specific area you want to find, navigating is a breeze!

As soon as you enter the Taean Tulip Exhibition, you'll be greeted by

various whimsical sculptures crafted out of flowers,

and there are so many adorable character designs!

However, because we visited right at the start of the festival on April 1st,

we expected the flowers to be more fully bloomed.

As you can see, they weren't out in full force yet, which was a little bit of a letdown.

Still, it wasn't like there were no flowers at all,

so it was actually a pretty nice spot to snap some photos and make some memories.

Plus, there are plenty of spots to take a break scattered throughout the park.

In particular, this cute hat-shaped rest area was absolutely darling!

It's located right near the food trucks,

making it the perfect place to grab a quick bite and recharge.

Tulips

To be honest, because some areas looked a bit sparse,

I was slightly worried that we wouldn't get to see many tulips at the actual Taean Tulip Festival!

But thankfully, the tulips themselves were in full, beautiful bloom.

So we managed to take plenty of gorgeous souvenir photos with them!

Aside from admiring the flowers, the Taean Tulip Festival offered plenty of other things to do.

You could purchase fresh flowers at the garden center,

and find a variety of cute accessories as well.

The souvenir shops were stocked with great keepsakes

to remember your trip to Taean and Anmyeondo Island,

and we even caught a live performance from South America!

Things to Do

The Electric Shuttle

For a fun activity, you can cruise around the Taean Tulip Expo

on an electric shuttle cart.

It was ~$2 for adults and ~$1 for youth.

Just a heads-up, though: it moves pretty slowly! 😂

The Suspension Bridge

There was also a mini suspension bridge. It's on the shorter side,

but it wobbles quite a bit, which made it super fun!

Photo Zones

They also had designated spots set up just for taking souvenir photos.

While posing with the actual flowers is definitely the prettiest,

snapping a shot at these fun photo zones is a great way to capture memories!

Instant Photos

In the middle of the sprawling tulip fields,

there was a booth offering instant photo services,

which is perfect if you want to take home a physical keepsake right away.

Food & Eats

When it came to snacks, they had a convenience store,

but let's be honest, the highlight of any festival is the food trucks, right?

There was a pretty good variety of options,

so it was super fun choosing what to eat.

Since I had such a huge lunch before coming,

I only got the mini 10-Won Bread, and it was actually pretty good!
