The accommodation with cooking facilities I'm recommending is
YEHS Hotel, located near Sydney Town Hall.
With tram, train, and bus stops all conveniently nearby, it’s super easy to get around to surrounding areas and major attractions. Plus, it's right in front of Darling Harbour, making it perfect for enjoying the night views.
And here's a big plus: a large Woolworths is just a 5-minute walk away, making it the ideal spot for anyone planning to whip up their own meals.

One important thing to note is that only rooms labeled 'Kitchen' in the room type actually have a kitchen, so be sure to check carefully when booking.
At around ~$148 per night, it's quite affordable, and you can make a reservation through the link below:

Advantages of YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites
Next, I'll walk you through the location features and advantages of YEHS Hotel Sydney Harbour Suites, complete with a map.

First, if you mark the location of YEHS Hotel on a map, you'll see that there's a tram station and a train station nearby. This means it's an incredibly convenient location for getting to nearby areas and major city attractions.

In fact, I could catch a tram right nearby, which meant I could visit the Opera House both during the day and at night.
What's more, with a Woolworths close by, it was perfect for picking up groceries. And Chinatown to the south, as well as Paddy's Market, were both within walking distance, making it ideal for shopping.

Plus, Darling Harbour is just about a 5-minute walk away, which was lovely for evening strolls and admiring Sydney's beautiful night views.

And right in front of the hotel was a major thoroughfare. The view from my room was exactly this, which really made me feel how advantageous the location was.
Hotel Check-in and Stay Review
Next, I'll share my experience from hotel check-in to a 6-night stay in a Premium Room.

Check-in was super quick! All I had to do was show my passport at the lobby, and after a brief verification, I was all set.
I also noticed that the lobby had a separate area for storing guests' luggage, both before check-in and after check-out, which is really convenient.

In the back of the lobby, there was a cozy little lounge area, complete with complimentary coffee and milk.
Although I didn't get a chance to use it, knowing how delicious Australian coffee is, I thought this service was a lovely touch!

We were assigned room #1007 on the 10th floor.
It had a unique layout: a separate main door leading to a small private area, and then the actual room door inside.
Apparently, this kind of room setup is quite common in apartment-style hotels (residences) in Australia.

After passing through both doors, I finally stepped into my assigned room, #1007.

The room featured two comfortable single beds, a table with two chairs, and even a two-seater sofa, making it absolutely perfect for two people.

Since it's an apartment-style room (residence), the wardrobe was thoughtfully equipped with plenty of hangers, an iron, and an ironing board.
This would be a game-changer for long-term stays or even if you're taking photos and want your outfits to look perfectly pressed!

A full-length mirror next to the bed was perfect for a last-minute outfit check before heading out to explore.

One of the absolute highlights of this hotel for me was the kitchen.
Even though it was a budget-friendly option, it boasted a surprisingly spacious, U-shaped kitchen, complete with a gas stove, sink, and plenty of counter space.
It was incredibly convenient to have so much room when preparing meals!

What's more, there was a window right by the sink, so I could do dishes while enjoying the view outside – definitely made tidying up less of a chore!

With a small refrigerator, I could store ingredients,
and with a coffee pot and simple coffee and tea provided,
I could boil water or make morning coffee.

Another advantage was the wide variety of cooking utensils.
From frying pans, plates, cups, cutlery, to a wine opener,
most essential cooking tools were all provided,
so I didn't need to bring anything extra from home.
For those who plan to grill meat, it might be a good idea to bring
a small pair of scissors from Daiso (or a similar store).

Next up, the bathroom had a separate shower area,
and while not spacious, it was very clean.

What's more, the shower room was fully stocked with body wash, shampoo, and conditioner,
so I didn't have to bring any shower essentials from home, which was super convenient.

During my 6-night stay, I happily cooked up breakfast
and dinner every single day.
Having a Woolworths nearby made fresh food shopping a breeze,
and since I could store everything in the fridge, I could do one big shop
and enjoy meals continuously, which was incredibly convenient.
In the evenings, I even grilled famous Australian beef,
indulging in everything I craved.
