I've arrived at the University of Sydney,
a magnificent and classic institution established in 1850,
featuring Neo-Gothic architecture!
The Quadrangle's Clock Tower is a prime example of this
Neo-Gothic style.
It's so reminiscent of Hogwarts from Harry Potter,
which means there are tons of photo opportunities!
I've always wanted to visit this place because of its unique architecture
and atmosphere, crafted from sandstone in the early 1850s-1900s.
I would have seriously regretted not coming!

As I explored the University of Sydney,
I found myself repeatedly exclaiming, "It's truly beautiful!"
It's pure architectural splendor.
Seeing students relaxing on the lawns and squares, eating lunch,
or simply chatting while basking in the sun,
really added to the relaxed and wonderful atmosphere.
The moment I saw it, I was struck by the campus atmosphere,
which immediately brought to mind a scene from a Harry Potter movie.
With its towering spires, arched windows, and intricate decorative carvings,
it doesn't quite feel like Australia at first glance;
instead, it strongly evokes the image of an ancient British university.
The weather was fantastic, and I took so many photos!
And here I am, right in front of the Quadrangle's Clock Tower!!!
You can't talk about the University of Sydney without mentioning
Many say it feels just like Hogwarts!
Especially when you see the architecture and the sprawling lawns of the Quadrangle,
you'll instantly understand why everyone talks about it.
With its towering spires, Gothic buildings, arched pathways, and sandstone walls,
every photo you take here turns out incredibly atmospheric.
If you're looking to capture the university's grandeur in your photos,
don't just stick to frontal shots of the whole building.
I highly recommend trying angles where you frame the buildings through the archways.
On a beautiful clear day,
the vibrant blue sky creates a stunning contrast with the ancient sandstone buildings, making them appear even more picturesque.
I found that the best time for photos was particularly in the morning or late afternoon,
when the sunlight isn't too harsh, as it really brings out the rich textures of the buildings.

I even discovered Toby's Estate Coffee Roasters nearby,

Of course, I had to snap some pictures here too!
So many people were taking photos here!
You might even have to queue up for your turn.
It was fascinating to see lectures actually taking place inside these historic walls!

Stepping out from the main school buildings,
you'll find food trucks like these,
perfect for a quick bite!
It was lovely to see students grabbing food from the trucks,
then settling down on the grass to enjoy their meals.
From a tourist's perspective,
it offered a distinctly different feeling compared to rushing through typical tourist attractions.
Just sitting on a bench for a bit,
As I looked out at the lawn,
I felt like I was truly experiencing the daily life of a local in Sydney.
Students walked by, chatting with their friends,
someone had their laptop open, deep in study,
and people were simply relaxing on the grass,
all blended together so naturally, it was a truly heartwarming sight.

From Sydney CBD, you can take bus number 470, which takes about 30 minutes. If you take a taxi, it will take approximately 15 minutes.
