A Sydney Babymoon!
As a couple who loves to travel,
rather than a traditional studio shoot,
a maternity photoshoot captured during our babymoon
felt incredibly meaningful to us.
While there are affordable iPhone snap sessions available,
we thought, if we’re going to do it, why not get it done properly with a professional camera,
and capture some truly beautiful photos.
We booked a Sajin Bangsongguk snap photoshoot
and came away with stunning memories.

Australia, with its gorgeous natural landscapes and vibrant cities,
offers completely different vibes at each photoshoot spot
when you do a local snap session.
If you look at Sajin Bangsongguk's portfolio,
you'd wonder if it's even the same Sydney, as the atmosphere changes dramatically
depending on the time and location.
I saw these vibes,
and knew immediately this was the place for us, so we went for it!
You can choose either a morning or afternoon slot and a specific course
when booking, and the session takes about 1 hour.
What I really loved about Sajin Bangsongguk's attention to detail was that,
for a snap photoshoot, the weather is super important, right?
Whether they intentionally left enough buffer time between bookings or not,
I was so touched by their thoughtfulness in adjusting the schedule
to a time with good weather and beautiful light for photos 🥹
The course spots I visited were
the Observatory + distant views of the Opera House,
and the Sydney atmosphere there is absolutely incredible!
And the photos below
have a bit of a European feel too haha
At the time, I was 25 weeks pregnant,
and during the hour of shooting and moving around,
every single moment felt like a continuation of our trip.
Even while moving between shoot locations,
if a pretty spot appeared, they’d capture a shot for us haha

A Sydney iPhone snap session
for 2 people was around ~$104, you know?
I hesitated for a moment.
But no matter how good an iPhone is,
when it comes to a photoshoot, there's a definite difference in photo quality between an iPhone vs. a professional camera.

taking over 400 photos + even doing color correction for you.
(I actually received 504 color-corrected original photos, wow!)
This is a photo I personally really love.
Even a huge bridge like the Harbour Bridge is captured without being cut off,
they capture the vast space in one frame,
and at the same time, the portrait shots are also spot on!
If I were to go to Sydney for my honeymoon?
I would definitely get Sydney couple snap photos,
even more so than pre-wedding snaps on Jeju Island.
Actually, I'm planning to go to Sydney someday with my 8-month-old, Ppanjjaki,
and I'd love to take snaps at the same spot then too, haha!
When I made the reservation,

and I hesitated because the price was more than double,
but after seeing the photos, my satisfaction was so high that
I knew it was absolutely worth every penny.

I thought the key point was not just how good my face looked,
but rather me blended into Sydney's atmosphere.
And it captured my thoughts exactly.
I even considered taking the photos myself, you know?
But there are so many boats passing in front of the Opera House!!
If you want to perfectly time your shot with a boat passing,
self-snaps... it's not easy, haha.
Snap Outfit Tips
After booking, the photographer contacted us.
They said if we wanted a dress, or hair and makeup,
they could arrange an appointment with a company
run by Korean residents.
But we honestly just wanted
to capture natural snaps,
and frankly, the snap photo price alone was already
a bit much for us, haha.
So, we just went with our natural selves.
Anyway, the background does all the hard work, right? Haha.
Still, one thing we made sure of was our outfit colors.
Since Sydney's background is so vibrant,
if our clothes were too colorful,
I thought the focus in the photos would be dispersed,
With the motto 'Let's blend in with nature',
wearing neutral-colored clothes was a great choice!
Even with just a simple dress and a shirt,
the weather, the background, and the photo quality were absolutely perfect.
If you're thinking about a Sydney photoshoot,
even if you skip the fancy dress and makeup,
I highly recommend getting it shot with a proper camera 💙
