Discover the best of Sydney's surroundings on a 9-hour day tour! Explore Featherdale Wildlife Park, the charming Leura Village, and breathtaking Lincoln's Rock in 2026.

The Blue Mountains are
about 2 hours from Sydney,
so I thought it might be tricky
to go independently.
That's why I booked
this Sydney day tour!
This tour takes us to 5 spots:
Featherdale Wildlife Park
Blue Mountains
Leura Village
Lincoln's Rock
Come Play Sydney Tour
Meeting at 7:50 AM - 8:00 AM
Departure from in front of
Rydges World Square Hotel
Arrival back at 5:30 PM
On the day we went, there were about 10 people
on the tour.
It's a 9-hour tour.
We had lunch
in Leura Village.
Price
Per person: ~$55

We booked
and went.
You can even book the day before
and still get confirmation.
Klook Booking
If you include Scenic World
as an option for the Blue Mountains tour,
the price goes up,
but we
chose not to include it.
When visiting Featherdale Wildlife Park
on your own,
taking a photo
with a koala
normally costs 40 AUD,
but we only paid 30 AUD
and were able to take a photo
with a koala!
And we were able to travel comfortably
in a private vehicle.
1. Featherdale Wildlife Park
Address: 217 Kildare Rd, Doonside
NSW 2767 Australia
By Public Transport: 1.5 hours
By Tour Bus: 30-40 minutes
The reason we opted for an open run at Featherdale
is because if you go in the afternoon,
koalas
and other animals might be sleeping
or full.
Even if you offer them food,
they might not eat much
and just keep sleeping.
That's why we headed to Featherdale Wildlife Park
first thing.

Established in 1972,
this zoo is home to 260 species
of Australian animals.
While it's not huge,
the distance between visitors and animals is very close,
making it popular for its
immersive, hands-on experiences.
The entrance fee is
44 AUD for adults
(~$28).
There was also an animal feeding experience,
and the food was
5 AUD.
We paid by card.

Right as we entered,
there was a plump wombat!
It looked like a small wild boar.
Its waddling walk back
and forth
was incredibly cute.

There were a variety of bird species too,
including pelicans,
and even reptiles!

You can feed them
directly,
and there are wallabies too!
When you touch them,
their fur is incredibly soft.

Koalas! We came to see the koalas!
Maybe it was because it was morning,
but they were eating their food
really well,
and there were plenty of them all over the trees.

We took photos here and received them.
One large photo,
two regular-sized photos,
and one divided photo,
like a sticker photo.
In total, we received four photos.

The incredibly,
incredibly cute quokkas...
if you touch them
directly,
you'll incur a truly
massive fine,
but at the zoo,
you could legally (^^)
touch them
and feed them!

There were also white wallabies and
various kangaroos,
and being able to see,
touch, and feed Australia's iconic
native animals
up close,
I highly recommend it!
Lincoln's Rock
Lincolns Rock
Lincoln's Rock is a
cliffside viewpoint,
characterized by an endless
view stretching out beneath your feet,
and it's also famous because
Jennie (from BLACKPINK) visited!
Let's explore!

That day, the wind was blowing so
incredibly hard, it was a bit dangerous,
making us sway!
Normally,
we'd sit
at the very edge of the cliff to
take photos,
but we couldn't.
You can see the natural valley sprawling out,
free of railings or
man-made structures, and a beautiful blue-tinged
eucalyptus forest.
The temperature drops quite a bit,
so a coat is essential!

Leura Village
In spring, cherry blossoms and azaleas are in full bloom.
It's also famous for its autumn foliage.
CAFE SANA
Delicious Korean Food
We came here for lunch!
They generously
gave us about two hours.
We're here to enjoy some Korean food!
This is Cafe Sana,
and it's operated
by Koreans.

Menu

The food:
Pork Cutlet 25 AUD
Bulgogi Deopbap 23 AUD
Hangang Ramyeon 15 AUD
Coke 3.50 AUD

There were about
15 seats, and the ramen was spicy and absolutely
delicious!
📍 Leura Village
Leura, Leura NSW 2780 Australia
Josophan's Fine Chocolates
It's an ice cream shop!
A gelato place, actually.
The price is 11 AUD.
We had coffee and vanilla.

The serving size was huge,
and it was wonderfully chewy and delicious!
So tasty!
Opening Hours
9 AM - 5 PM
There are
cockatoos,
native Australian parrots.
They're incredibly large,
almost like dogs,
which really surprised me!
In Leura village
in the Blue Mountains,
I saw
so many
cockatoos!

Leura Village Souvenirs
Leura Health Foods

There were various types of teas, supplements,
and cosmetics.
They also sold aromatherapy products,
jojoba oil,
shampoos,
and honey-based lip balms, so
I picked some up
as souvenirs!

This Manuka Honey Balm
was A$24.65, which isn't exactly cheap,
but since it's an Australian-made
product,
it was perfect to buy
as a souvenir!
