Sydney (SYD) to Brisbane (BNE)
and was agonizing over which domestic airline to choose.

But don't just jump on the cheapest ticket you see
without checking all the details!
The final price can totally flip depending on whether baggage is included.

Notice how the outbound flight includes baggage,
but the return doesn't?
This is why it's crucial to check these options
– it saves you from surprise fees later.
What's more, my Jetstar flight did include checked baggage,
and with a generous 55 lbs (25kg) allowance, it was more than enough!
I'd heard budget airlines often don't include baggage,
but this was surprisingly ample!

I was in seat 30C, an aisle seat.
As expected with a low-cost carrier, the seat pitch (around 29 inches)
isn't super spacious. However, I'm 5'5" (165cm) and my friend is 5'6" (168cm),
and we didn't experience any significant discomfort at all!

Sydney to Brisbane is just a
quick 1-hour and 30-minute hop, right?
The cabin was clean, and you pretty much just doze off and wake up at your destination.
For the value, I was really satisfied.
Even though it's on the same eastern coast,
having to take a domestic flight really gives you a sense of just how massive Australia is!
