While Korea starts to cool down in the latter half of the year,
Australia is beautifully transitioning from spring into summer.
This timing is perfect for enjoying both stunning natural landscapes and vibrant city life,
making it a truly enchanting and ideal time to visit!
Today, for those adventurers looking to explore both Sydney and Brisbane in Australia,
I'll be sharing my personal Australia Sydney and Brisbane travel itinerary,
fresh from my own journey.
Plus, I'll reveal some pro tips for booking tours at a great discount!

Here's a broad overview of my incredible 7-night, 8-day Sydney and Brisbane
travel itinerary.

I spent 2 nights and 3 days soaking up Brisbane's charm, followed by 5 nights and 6 days exploring Sydney.
Now, let's dive into the detailed itinerary for each incredible city!
Day 1
As Brisbane was our first port of call in Australia,
we opted for a convenient Brisbane Airport Pick-up Tour on Day 1.
The airport pick-up tour made it incredibly easy to visit major city highlights like Mount Coot-tha,
South Bank, and more.
While Brisbane might be slightly less renowned than its bigger Australian siblings,
it absolutely boasts some spectacular viewpoints right in the city center!
After the tour wrapped up, we enjoyed some free time, visiting the Brisbane City Hall and Felons Brewing Co. before calling it a day.
Day 2
For Day 2 of our Brisbane adventure, we ventured out on a fantastic Springbrook and Tamborine Mountain tour to the outskirts of the city.
This tour truly immerses you in Australia's breathtaking natural beauty,
so if you're planning a trip to Brisbane, I wholeheartedly recommend it!
For me, it was hands down the most
unforgettable part of my entire Australian adventure.
Day 3
On Day 3, we hopped on an early morning Jetstar flight
and made our way to Sydney.
Flights to Sydney tend to be more affordable when booked in advance,
so I definitely recommend securing your tickets early if you can!
Day 3
After landing at Sydney Airport, we took advantage of a Sydney Airport pick-up
Eastern Coast tour.
This allowed us to explore iconic spots like Dudley Page,
Watsons Bay, and Bondi Beach – places that can be tricky to get to via public transport –
all within a short timeframe.
It offered a totally different charm from Brisbane, and I was absolutely delighted to see so many fantastic spots so efficiently.
Day 4
Day 4 of our Sydney adventure was all about embracing the great outdoors and
connecting with wildlife, as we embarked on a Blue Mountains and Featherdale Wildlife Park
tour.
Getting an early start at Featherdale, we even met a quokka and
had the most wonderful time hand-feeding adorable animals like
kangaroos and wallabies!
Just a heads-up: feeding animals is only permitted at officially licensed wildlife parks.
Please be aware that touching or feeding animals in the wild or outside designated areas
is strictly prohibited!

Afterwards, exploring the stunning natural beauty of Scenic World and the iconic Three Sisters
truly cleared my mind and refreshed my spirit.
Day 5
Day 5 was dedicated to another fantastic day trip, following up on Day 4, as we embarked on a
Port Stephens tour.
The Port Stephens tour is an experience-oriented adventure, featuring activities like a dolphin cruise, desert sandboarding,
and a visit to Oakvale Wildlife Park.
If Day 4 was mostly about the mountain views of the Blue Mountains,
Day 5 offers a completely different theme of nature to enjoy,
like the sea and the desert.
The Oakvale Wildlife Park was particularly satisfying!
Being able to enter the koala enclosure, touch them directly,
and even take souvenir photos was incredibly rewarding!
Likewise, please be very careful! Touching wild animals outside of officially licensed zoos
is prohibited!
Day 6
Day 6 is when you really dive into exploring Sydney city center.
In the morning, we explored the State Library of New South Wales and the Royal Botanic Garden,
and in the afternoon, we visited the Opera House. Afterwards, enjoying a picnic and watching the sunset from the
Sydney Observatory truly lets you soak in Sydney's unique romance.
To wrap up the day, admiring the Opera House's night view,
or taking a run along the riverside is absolutely magical!
Day 7
Day 7 is also a great day to enjoy a Sydney city tour itinerary.
The plan is to start with the University of Sydney, then explore Paddy's Markets,
QVB (Queen Victoria Building), and the North Sydney area.
The night views from places like Luna Park and Milsons Point in North Sydney were
absolutely stunning too!
Day 8
On the final Day 8, the plan is to head to Sydney Airport early in the morning for your
return trip to Korea.
If your luggage is heavy or your accommodation is far from the station,
I recommend taking a taxi.
