Hi everyone! Meongmung here :)
Today, I'm super excited to introduce you to the Sun Cloud Hotel in Haeundae!!!

Highly, highly recommend the Corner Suite at Busan's ocean-view Haeundae Sun Cloud Hotel, where you can enjoy stunning views in the ~$64 range on weekdays!
Sun Cloud Hotel Haeundae is listed on various booking sites under different terms, so make sure to look around for the best deal before booking! When I checked the room I stayed in for a Wednesday, it was available on Agoda in the ~$90 range, and if you tweak the dates or options a bit, the deals get even better!!!
I stayed in a 4-person room, and we all know how hard it is to find rooms that fit 4 people! They even have rooms for up to 6 guests.
Sun Cloud Hotel is absolutely perfect for a getaway with friends!!!

The room I stayed in was the Corner Suite Ocean View!
With parking from levels B1 to B6, one free parking space is available per room!

Sun Cloud Hotel Haeundae is located right by the water.
From the hotel, the beach is literally just one traffic light away!!! Haha.
I actually came to this same building (Seacloud) 10 years ago for a friend's bridal shower, but this time I'm back to stay at the Sun Cloud Hotel!

The location is perfect since you can easily walk to Dongbaekseom Island & Dalmaji Hill for a scenic stroll.
There's a Starbucks, CU, and GS25 convenience store either right next door or in the same building, and with so many great restaurants nearby, you can walk absolutely everywhere.
You check in at the 6th-floor front desk, but the building layout can be a bit confusing!

If you're coming from the 1st floor or the underground parking lot: Go to the 4th floor > Transfer to the elevator going from the 4th floor to the 6th floor > Head to the 6th-floor front desk to check in > Take the inner elevator up to your assigned room!

Since I visited here back in my 20s, the building felt super familiar, haha.

Sun Cloud Hotel had a pretty impressive Agoda rating of 8.3 in '23!

There's even a cute photo zone by the 6th-floor front desk! If you arrive during a rush and have to wait to check in, snap some fun photos to pass the time!

It looks like quite a few people were taking advantage of the luggage storage service.

Once your reservation is confirmed, you'll receive a notification text message.
They also double-check this text message when you check in!
Yay! We were assigned to the 28th floor!!!!

Since my friends and I wanted to share some wine, we grabbed a corkscrew and 4 wine glasses from the front desk before heading up!!!
You can just return them back to the front desk when you're done.
First things first... shall we take a look at that Haeundae ocean view?

Wow, isn't this absolutely insane?

The night view from our Corner Suite Ocean View room.

Sunrise view from the Haeundae hotel....!
I think the colors look even more stunning with the morning sun hitting Marine City.
Honestly, it's absolutely unreal... hahaha

My husband giving it a double thumbs-up lol

Even my friend who actually lives in Haeundae was glued to the window, saying the view is insane lol

There's another bed further inside, making this place absolutely perfect for a group of four.

2 Beds, Dining Table for 4, Sofa for 4, Induction Cooktop, Refrigerator, Electric Kettle, 4 Bottles of Water
The layout is nicely separated with two beds, a dining table for four, a four-seater sofa, a restroom/shower room, and a vanity sink. Since it's a residence-style hotel, the room was incredibly spacious and comfortable!

The sofa was super cozy.

There are four complimentary bottles of water, four cups, and an electric kettle.

It also comes equipped with an induction cooktop and a sink.

If you plan on cooking, you can bring your own kitchenware or rent a full set from the front desk for a small additional fee!
Pots, bowls, plates, utensils, cutting board, dish soap/sponges

You can find a microwave on the 6th floor where the lobby/front desk is located.

Shampoo, conditioner, and body wash

It was so convenient to have hand soap, eight towels, and a hairdryer all ready for us.

The Tarongino Orange Wine I brought to share with my friends, along with some Piper-Heidsieck Champagne!

Getting ready to pop the champagne lol

Look at those lively bubbles! Classic Piper-Heidsieck.

Our late-night snack pairing: Spicy chicken feet... ^^
As someone who can't handle spice, my eyes are watering already T_T

Cheers with our Piper-Heidsieck in wine glasses we borrowed from Haeundae Suncloud Hotel! Clink, clink, clink~

Next up, Boksoondoga makgeolli brought by my friend!

The sweet treats go so well with the spicy food, haha! 😋

We went to the convenience store saying we'd just grab some "light snacks"... does this look light to you? 😂

Mixing two glasses of wine, two glasses of champagne, and two bowls of makgeolli (Korean rice wine) meant I woke up with a major hangover... 😭
But somehow, my eyes still popped open at 6:30 AM! Haha.

And once again, I was absolutely blown away by this view! 😍
I dragged my husband out of bed, and we went for a walk at 7:00 AM! 🤣

Haeundae Beach at 7:00 AM on a weekday...
It's so incredibly peaceful. It seriously makes me want to work hard, save up, and retire right here in Haeundae.
Ugh, take me back to Busan already! 👀

Spotted a cute little seagull! 🐦

We walked over to grab a hot bowl of cod soup at 'Sok Ssi-won-han Daegutang' for some perfect hangover relief...

...then hit up the Overt Busan pop-up to tear into a giant croissant!
Our Visit to Movement Lab Busan: A Furniture Showroom & Select Shop
We also did some window shopping at this stunning furniture showroom...

...and tested out some gorgeous scents at the Aesop store on Dalmaji-gil Road.

We even watched the iconic beach train pass by at Cheongsapo!
