Discover Studio 202, a budget-friendly Airbnb in Busan located just one block from Gwangalli Beach. Perfect for groups looking for a cozy, local stay.
Hey there, fellow travelers!
Whenever I head to Busan, I almost always look for a place to stay near Gwangalli Beach.
Since I've stayed at this particular spot multiple times, I wanted to share it as a highly recommended option.
Today, I'm introducing a super budget-friendly Airbnb located just a 1-minute walk from Gwangalli Beach in Busan:
Airbnb Studio 202!
Let's dive right in!
Airbnb Studio 202
⏰ Check-in: 3:00 PM
⏰ Check-out: 11:00 AM
📌 Paid Parking, Self Check-in, Free Wi-Fi, TV, Hairdryer, Shampoo, Conditioner, Body Wash, Hand Wash, Towels, Washing Machine, Tableware (No Cooking Allowed)
📍 Studio 202 Officetel
35, Namcheonbada-ro 33beon-gil, Suyeong-gu, Busan
📍 Geumnyeonsan Station (Busan Metro Line 2)
482, Suyeong-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan
📍 Gwangan Station (Busan Metro Line 2)
576, Suyeong-ro, Suyeong-gu, Busan
📲 I booked this place through the Airbnb app,
Total for 3 nights: ~$257 / 3 people
~$86 per night
At around ~$86 per night (which is just ~$29 per person),
the value for money is absolutely amazing!

🚇 Studio 202 Officetel
is a 7-minute walk from Geumnyeonsan Station
and about a 15-minute walk from Gwangan Station.
If you head down towards Gwangalli Beach from Geumnyeonsan Station,
you'll find this Airbnb tucked into the alleyway just one block back from the beach.
There's a sign outside that reads "studio202," so it's super easy to find.

🚗 There is a parking space on the 1st floor,
but it only accommodates standard passenger cars.
The rate is ~$6 per night.
It's a self check-in system,
so you can just head straight up to your room via the elevator on the 1st floor.
Since there's only one elevator, it can get a bit crowded during check-in and check-out times! 🥹

Inside the elevator,
you'll find important guest guidelines and instructions on how to use the recycling area!

Time for a quick virtual room tour of our Busan home! 🤗
Once you punch in the door code provided by the host and step inside,
ta-da! You'll be greeted by a full-length mirror.
To your left is the closet, and to your right is the bathroom!

The bathroom sink comes equipped with hand wash and a hairdryer,
and you'll find shampoo, conditioner, and body wash as standard amenities.
I absolutely loved how incredibly generous they were with the towels! 🤍
Just keep in mind that toothbrushes aren't provided, so make sure to pack your own!!

Right next to the closet,
you'll find the refrigerator, microwave, and a drying rack.
I really appreciated having a full-sized fridge,
and having a drying rack is a lifesaver after a fun day of splashing around at the beach! 〰️

Since this is a residential-style officetel, it also features an induction cooktop and a washing machine
(laundry detergent isn't provided, but you are free to use the washing machine).
The room I stayed in this time didn't have cooking facilities!
Since I didn't read the guidelines carefully,
I bought packet ramen only to find out I couldn't even cook it... what a tragedy! 🤣
On the bright side, there is an electric kettle!!!
Tableware, cutlery, cups, and even soju glasses were all set up according to the number of guests.

❗Trash bags aren't provided,
so you'll need to grab one from a convenience store to clean up 😭
There's also a cozy sofa, a table, and a TV,
plus a full-length mirror which was incredibly useful!!
(We all know a good mirror is essential when getting ready 😆)
It was also the perfect spot to enjoy some local takeout or delivery 😋

Studio 202 is a loft-style room, so
the bed is located up on the second floor.
Going up and down the stairs was a tiny bit of a hassle, but...
it made great use of the space!!

So cozy and inviting, right?
There’s even a built-in storage cabinet on the wall!

There are also power outlets right by the head of the bed and on the wall upstairs!

👀 As for the view...
Since it faces the building opposite, it’s best to keep the curtains drawn!!
✔️ Nearby spots:
Convenience store, Gwangalli Beach, Randy's Donuts, Chofilsal Grilled Pork, Baro Haejang, Gatten Sushi, Life Four Cuts (photo booth), Starbucks, and more!
Tons of amazing restaurants, bars, and cafes are just steps away!
If you're hunting for a budget-friendly place to stay near Gwangalli Beach in Busan,
I highly recommend this spot! 👍🏻
Next up, I’ll be sharing some amazing Busan eats, so stay tuned!
