Strut Coffee Busan Review: Jeonpo's Hidden Gem Cafe
Discover Strut Coffee in Busan's trendy Jeonpo Cafe Street. This three-time Blue Ribbon winner serves world-class filter coffee and unique signature drinks.
I finally made it to Strut Coffee in Busan!
When I visited Sydney, Australia,
the Estate Coffee Shop
was selected by CNN in 2025
as #1 among the top 100 cafes
in the world.
And since this place
is also known as one of the
top 100 cafes in the world,
I was super curious to check it out!
They even have three Blue Ribbons (Korea's Michelin guide equivalent)!
Location & Address
28 Dongseong-ro 39beon-gil, Busanjin-gu, Busan (Strut)
Just 200 meters from Exit 8 of Jeonpo Station
It's nestled about halfway between Jeonpo Station and Seomyeon Station,
tucked away in a quiet, cozy alleyway.

Opening Hours
Mon - Fri: 8:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Sat - Sun: 9:30 AM - 7:00 PM
Menu
The menu was a little tricky for me at first,

Filter, Espresso,
seasonal drinks,
and special menus are available.
They use organic milk from Bumsan Farm
and Oatly oat milk.
They also have Affogato
and Apple Cinnamon Milk Tea.

The 'Oat-rus'
is a smooth and nutty Oatly milk coffee
sweetened with unrefined sugar.
They also serve Flat Whites,
and the 'C-Flat'
uses raw cane sugar that isn't overly sweet,
with less milk than a standard flat white
so you can really taste the subtle sweetness.
For lattes,
you can choose low-fat milk
or alternative milks.
Drinks & Desserts

We ordered an iced Truss Filter Coffee for ~$4
and an Affogato for ~$5.
We couldn't wait to try them!
The prices are on the higher side!
Definitely a bit pricey.

The coffee has a super strong acidity.
It's the kind of flavor that really wakes you up!
You can tell so much care and effort
went into making both of these.

The Affogato
was packed with real vanilla bean.
It was as rich as gelato,
and we absolutely loved it!

The Affogato is seriously so good.
I'm still thinking about it!

Seating Area

They've actually received three Blue Ribbons!
The indoor seating is a bit limited,
and though they do have some spots,
it was super packed
with quite a bit of a wait!

Parking lot view!
We ended up sitting outside,
but oh boy, it was freezing.

My husband was completely bundled up because of the cold,
and the wind that day... wow!
But so incredibly sweet of them—
they gave us hot packs,
and they even had blankets inside,
which was a total lifesaver!
The space is definitely on the cozier side,
but we just couldn't miss out on this coffee...

Restroom

The restroom is located outside.
Inside the Cafe

We got to sniff the different coffee beans
to help us choose our brew.

Unlike Seomyeon,
it's not chaotic.
It's peaceful
yet far from boring.
The surrounding area is packed with
amazing cafes and restaurants,
giving off a super hip, local vibe.
The menu is delightfully simple,
featuring reliably solid coffees
alongside unique, character-filled drinks.
If you're visiting the area,
this is a spot I highly recommend checking out!
