1. Sono Delpino Ocean Play Location & Basic Information
📍 Delpino Ocean Play
1153 Misiryeong Yetgil, Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province, South Korea
Ocean Play is a water park facility found at various Sono Resorts.
The Delpino Ocean Play, located within Sono Delpino in Goseong, is a year-round hot spring water park.
It's not particularly massive and only features one water slide, so it's not about adrenaline-pumping activities.
Instead, think of it as a water park where **young children and adults can relax and enjoy themselves at a leisurely pace.**
In fact, as I mentioned, because it's hot-spring based, it's even more popular in winter!
There's nothing quite like enjoying a warm **hot spring** bath outdoors when it's chilly outside 🥰
Of course, in summer, it's also a fantastic spot for children, especially those in elementary school and younger, to have a splash.

Since we were staying at the resort, parking was convenient within the resort grounds.
Sono Delpino itself is quite expansive, so depending on your room's location, carrying all your water park essentials might be a bit of a trek.
That's why you'll see a lot of cars parked near Ocean Play, as shown in the picture.
If you have a lot of gear, I recommend arriving early to snag a closer spot ⭐

2. Ocean Play Packing Essentials: An Honest Review
Ocean Play Essentials ⚠️ Must-Haves
✔️Swimsuit (beachwear, rash guard)
✔️Swim cap (bandana, baseball cap are also acceptable)
✔️Life vests are mandatory for anyone under 39 inches tall
✔️Aqua shoes
You might remember to pack your swimsuit and swim cap, but aqua shoes are often forgotten, so make sure to bring them!

Our family visited during the off-peak season with a membership, so we enjoyed special benefits ✌️

The strollers neatly lined up at the locker entrance were adorable 🥺
First, head to the shoe lockers to store your shoes,

then proceed to the inner lockers.
The lockers are somewhat block-style, so I quickly snapped a few photos when no one was in our block!
One somewhat peculiar thing I noticed was that both the men's and women's locker rooms required passing through the sauna area to reach Ocean Play.
This meant that if you wanted to bring your phone into the water park, you'd have to carry it through the shower area...?
I felt a bit uncomfortable with this, so I didn't bring my phone in. Though it's not strictly prohibited, many people did bring their phones in bags.
So, the conclusion is: no photos of the interior water park 🤣🤣
My **Delpino Ocean Play review** based purely on memory is as follows:
🔽🔽🔽🔽🔽
✔️Even in May, when it might be chilly for kids to play, the warm hot spring water made it perfectly comfortable!
✔️Great for adults to relax in the hot springs while the kids play... 😇
✔️The size isn't huge, so it can feel a bit chaotic if there are too many people.
✔️The outdoor pool's view of the golf course is fantastic.
3. Ocean Play All-Day Pass: Price Comparison & Booking Guide
This is the highlight of the post!
Even for the same Delpino Ocean Play all-day pass, prices can vary depending on where you buy it.
Prices are based on Peak Season 2 (July 28 - August 17, 2026).
Adults ~$32 / Children ~$27 Mega Week Sale price (until August 9, 2026) Note: This ticket is valid for use on a specified date, starting 2 days after purchase. |
Adults ~$34 / Children ~$29 Various discount events with Samsung Card, BC Card, Kakao Pay, Toss Pay, etc. |
While MyRealTrip seems to offer significant discounts, you often need to spend over ~$138 to get a ~$5 discount, so unless you're buying tickets for 4-5 or more people, Coupang Travel is generally cheaper!
However, Coupang tickets cannot be purchased and used on the same day. You need to buy them in advance for a specified date starting the next day!
You **must** purchase in advance.
⚠️ If you plan to use it this weekend (August 8-9, 2026), you need to purchase it right now!!!!
