1. Sonobelle vs. Sonokam Comparison
Comparing Sonobelle East (소노벨이스트), Sonobelle West (소노벨웨스트), Sonokam AB (소노캄ab), and Sonokam C (소노캄c)
Goseong Delpino Resort generally has three types:
▪️ Sonobelle
▪️ Sonokam
▪️ Sonofelice (소노펠리체)
The hierarchy and prices are
in the order of Sonobelle > Sonokam > Sonofelice,
with Sonofelice being the most expensive.

However, since Sonofelice exceeds ₩600,000 (~$449) to ₩700,000 (~$524) per night,
it's recommended only for large families of 6 adults or more, or for special anniversaries.
The most popular choices for good value are
Sonobelle and Sonokam.

Among them,
the place with the best frontal view of Ulsanbawi is
Sonokam AB!!!
It's truly incredible, isn't it,,,?
I chose this place after a month of deliberation, and
to get straight to the point,
I highly recommend Sonokam AB.
(Best view, 2 bathrooms, cooking allowed)
Still undecided? For you,
I'll compare Sonobelle vs. Sonokam.

📍 Sonokam Delpino C
1153 Misiryeongyet-gil, Toseong-myeon, Goseong-gun, Gangwon Special Self-Governing Province
Sonobelle is divided into
Sonobelle East, Sonobelle West
Sonokam is divided into
Sonokam AB, Sonokam C
like this.
To compare them easily at a glance in a table,
Category | Room Features | Price Range |
Sono Belle West (소노벨 웨스트) | Resort-style for 4-5 people, cooking available | ★ Most affordable |
Sono Belle East (소노벨 이스트) | For 4-5 people, various views and room options | ★★ Good value for money |
⭐Sono Calm AB (소노캄 AB) | 5-person Suite, 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms | ★★★ |
Sono Calm C (소노캄 C) | Hotel-style for 4 people, 2 double beds | ★★~★★★ Mid-to-high range |
✔️ Sono Belle West
Recommended if you want to save as much on accommodation as possible.
There are also rooms with cooking facilities.
If you're more interested in enjoying the pool and
getting the most out of the amenities rather than the room view, this is for you!
(No Ulsanbawi Rock (울산바위) view)

✔️ Sono Belle East
Sono Belle East offers a Seoraksan Mountain (설악산) view
and is a bit pricier than West,
but unlike Sono Calm, the view isn't direct and includes the parking lot...
And there's only one bathroom ㅠㅠㅠ
✔️ Sono Calm AB ⭐
The most recommended place for family trips!
After much deliberation, I ended up staying at Sono Calm AB myself.
With a structure of 2 bedrooms + 2 bathrooms + living room,
each room has its own bathroom.
(Did you know all rooms at Delfino (델피노) use hot spring water...?
You'll feel wonderfully warm after a shower 🥹)
If you're 3 or more adults, definitely go for Sono Calm AB!!

Plus, the Ulsanbawi Rock view, which feels like Switzerland, is absolutely insane!
I've written a more detailed room review right below ❤️
✔️ Sono Calm C
This one is closer to a hotel than a resort.
It's a room type with two double beds,
and is great for those who want a clean stay
without cooking facilities or a separate living room.
(But if you go with a baby, 'baby bedtime' is impossible, lol)

Anyway, if you book with a special offer, it's half the regular price,
so go for Sono Calm AB, the most expensive among them!
I stayed at Sono Calm AB for one night at ₩470,000 (~$352)^^..ㅠㅠ(details omitted..)
If you book now with a special exclusive offer,
packages start from around ₩110,000 (~$82) per night 🥹
Of course, prices vary by date,
so check the prices first!

2. Sono Calm AB Suite Review
AB Suite Seoraksan Mountain View, Cooking Available
My review of the Sono Calm AB Suite, where I went
with my 9-month-old baby and my in-laws ❤️

To get straight to the point: 2000% willingness to revisit!
Although there were a few minor inconveniences staying with a baby,
the Ulsanbawi Rock view from the room alone
made everything forgivable 🥹
Seriously, a place that makes you not envy Switzerland.

✅ Here's the room we meticulously compared and selected:
Category | Details |
Accommodation | Delfino Sonno캄AB (델피노 소노캄AB) |
Room | Suite Seorak Mountain View (설악마운틴뷰) |
Room Style | With Cooking Facilities |
Configuration | 2 Bedrooms + Living Room + 2 Bathrooms |
Occupancy | 4 Adults, 1 Infant (under 36 months) |
At Sonno캄AB, rooms are divided into either a Seorak Mountain View or Standard,
and 'With Cooking Facilities' vs. 'Clean Type (No Cooking)'.
That's how they're categorized!
Since we were going to see 'Korea's Switzerland'…🩵
We paid extra for the Seorak Mountain View!
And since we had a baby, we chose the 'With Cooking Facilities' type!
= Super satisfied! 💯

✔️ 2 Bedrooms + 2 Bathrooms + Living Room & Kitchen
Since we were traveling with our baby and parents,
we booked a suite with separate bedrooms.
Having a separate living room meant we could put the baby to sleep
and then relax in the living room, which was absolutely the best! 🥹
And with a bathroom in each room, a total of two,
we enjoyed wonderfully warm showers with hot spring water at night! ♨️

The kitchen came fully equipped with all cooking utensils,
so even though we didn't cook full meals, it was perfect for warming up baby food
and washing some fruit for a simple snack! Haha.

However, it was a bit disappointing that there was no microwave in the room. ㅠㅠ
We had to use the microwave next to the convenience store on the first floor.
So, when we ate out, we'd warm up food in the microwave before leaving,
and when feeding the baby in the room, we'd use a pot to warm it up in a double boiler.
If there's one downside, that was it! ㅠㅠ!

✔️ Korea's Switzerland: Seorak Mountain View
But, above all, the biggest advantage was
the Ulsanbawi View (울산바위뷰) 🩵, which instantly made up for any minor inconvenience! Haha.
The moment you step out onto the room's terrace,
you'll find yourself exclaiming, 'Wow, this is insane!'

Seriously, a view that makes Switzerland envious! ❤️
When I went to Switzerland, I felt like I spent ₩100,000,000 (~$74,906);
This place is seriously incredible value for money!!
The sunset view of Ulsanbawi Rock (울산바위) in the evening
was even more spectacular than Switzerland.

Plus, mountains change their scenery with every season, don't they?
In summer, Seoraksan Mountain (설악산) was lush and green,
but if you go now, the autumn foliage is absolutely stunning 🍁

Since you're going to Del Pino (델피노) to see Ulsanbawi Rock,, ❤️
While you're at it, I highly recommend Sono Calm ab (소노캄ab)!!
Instead of going to Ambrosia (엠브로시아) where coffee is expensive,
your room *is* Ambrosia itself!

What's more, if you book with a special offer,
you can reserve a Seorak Mountain View (설악마운틴뷰) room at a standard price,
So hurry up before the special offer ends!!

Frequently Asked Questions
When can I book and stay for Goseong Delpino Resort's 'Last Exclusive Offer of the Year'?
This special offer is available for sale from November 2nd to November 8th, with stays possible from November 2nd to December 17th. A one-night package starts from ₩110,000 (~$82) and includes benefits such as complimentary drinks at Cafe Rocca.
Among Sonobelle, Sonocahm, and Sonofelice rooms at Delpino Resort, which offers good value for money?
Sonobelle and Sonocahm are mentioned as offering good value for money. Sonofelice is priced at ₩600,000-₩700,000 (~$449-~$524) or more per night, recommended for large families of 6 or more adults or for special anniversaries.
What are the biggest pros and cons of the Sonocahm AB Suite room?
The biggest advantage is the Ulsanbawi Rock view, often called 'Korea's Switzerland,' and its configuration of two bedrooms and two bathrooms makes it suitable for family trips. The disadvantage is that there is no microwave in the room, so you have to use the microwave next to the convenience store on the first floor or heat food in a pot using a double boiler method.
What are the characteristics of the Sonobelle West room, and does it offer an Ulsanbawi Rock view?
Sonobelle West is a resort-type room for 4-5 people, allowing self-catering, and is in the most affordable price range. However, it does not offer an Ulsanbawi Rock view from the room, so it is recommended for those who prefer using the amenities over a scenic view.
What are the specific reasons why the Sonocahm AB room is most recommended for family travelers?
Sonocahm AB is structured with two bedrooms, two bathrooms, and a living room, making it suitable for families with 3 or more adults or those traveling with a baby. It is also recommended as the place where the Ulsanbawi Rock view is best seen directly.
