Sleeping Lion Suites Lobby

When checking in or out,
you take a number ticket in the lobby and wait.
Even though the lobby is bustling with people,
most of them are guests waiting after checking out,
so your turn comes around quickly.
The staff at the check-in counter
were incredibly, wonderfully kind! 😍
Sleeping Lion Suites - Deluxe King Room

The room I stayed in was
a Deluxe King Room on the 19th floor!
The Deluxe Room and Standard Room
only differ in being on higher or lower floors.
Since the price difference wasn't significant,
I immediately chose the Deluxe Room.

The room interior was more spacious than I expected,
with enough space to fully open a suitcase.
The TV is a smart TV, but
the hotel Wi-Fi didn't connect,
so watching Netflix or YouTube was difficult.
Considering the room condition and location,
it's a pretty great value-for-money hotel in Kuala Lumpur.

On the vanity/desk, there's a
mirror, magnifying mirror, and hairdryer.

There's also a small makeshift table,
perfect for enjoying snacks, breakfast, or late-night meals you've brought.
No matter where I traveled in Malaysia,
I saw durians being sold everywhere,
so I thought it would be okay to eat durian inside the hotel.
Naturally, durian consumption is prohibited inside the hotel 🚫

Ample hangers,
disposable slippers, an ironing board,
and a refrigerator with water inside!
At first, the refrigerator wasn't cooling at all,
so I called reception to report it seemed broken.
They replaced the entire refrigerator for me.
I've seen in other reviews
that refrigerators were sometimes broken,
so it seems refrigerator malfunctions happen quite often.
This is one of the drawbacks.

Sleeping Lion Suites - Window View

From the 19th floor, you get expansive, open views.
With Pavilion, the heart of shopping in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, right at your doorstep,
it's incredibly convenient for a shopping spree.
You can spot the KL Tower in the distance,
though it's a slight shame the Twin Towers aren't visible from here.
Sleeping Lion Suite - The Bathroom

The bathroom layout is similar to what you'd find in a typical hotel.
It features a shower stall, a sink, and a toilet.
But wow, what a stylish interior!!

From hand wash, body wash, shampoo, conditioner, and soap
to toothbrushes, toothpaste, and combs –
most basic amenities are readily provided.
I even packed my own toothbrush, knowing many hotels don't provide disposables,
but here, you won't need to!

The Pool & Petronas Twin Towers Outdoor Walkway

The pool, visited late in the evening.
Since the pool operates until 8 PM,
visiting afterward allows you to soak in a breathtaking night view.
The Petronas Twin Towers weren't visible from the pool itself.

You can actually catch a glimpse of the Petronas Twin Towers
from the outdoor relaxation area, located right next to the bridge
that connects to the adjacent hotel.
When I visited after 10 PM,
this area was also closed.
So, if seeing the Twin Towers is on your itinerary,
make sure to visit at an earlier hour – it's a must!

The staff highly recommended checking out the outdoor walking path and fitness facilities, so I ventured over.
The walking path is truly impeccably maintained!
It’s absolutely perfect for a stroll right within the hotel grounds,
without having to step out into the city’s hustle and bustle.
There’s even a small playground for little ones,
making it a fantastic spot for families visiting with children.
Sleeping Lion Suite: My Honest Review (Paid by Me!)

Located right in front of Pavilion shopping mall,
it's incredibly convenient for getting around,
the rooms are spacious,
the facilities are spotless,
they even offer luggage storage after check-out,
making it an excellent value-for-money hotel!
The only minor drawback is that with so many guests,
the elevators can take a little longer to arrive.
Considering its location and price,
it comes highly recommended as a Kuala Lumpur hotel!
The best value-for-money hotel!

📍 Sleeping Lion Suites
5, Lorong Walter Grenier, Bukit Bintang, 55100 Kuala Lumpur, Wilayah Persekutuan Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia
Check-in is at 15:00, and check-out is at 12:00. Guests need to take a waiting number in the lobby. Since many guests are waiting after check-out, the queue moves quickly.
The smart TVs in the rooms are not connected to the hotel Wi-Fi, so watching Netflix or YouTube is difficult. Additionally, consuming durian in the rooms is prohibited.
The Petronas Twin Towers are not visible from the swimming pool, but you can see them from the outdoor relaxation area right next to the bridge connecting to the adjacent hotel. This area closes after 10 PM, so it's best to visit earlier.
The biggest difference between the Deluxe Room and the Standard Room is whether they are on a high floor or a low floor. It is mentioned that the price difference is not significant, so the Deluxe Room was chosen directly.
